  • I don't understand the mediocre reviews. When I went there recently i found the server was incredibly friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was great. The food was excellent. The menu is huge and offers all kinds of cuisines. It's a great meeting place cause it has something for everyone

  • Hello everyone,
Like my title says, Pickle Barrel is like the Mcdonalds of dining restaurants for me and my friends because of the amount of time we spend here. It has nothing to do with the food, its way better than Mcdonald's food. But for Restaurant quality, the food is ok, nothing special. I mean the pricing is cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. Its not really that filling either, maybe because I need alot of food to be filled, but its a great place for casually meeting up with friends. Not for a special date or anything. I liked that the atmosphere is family friendly and people can bring children here, good talking atmosphere too, food again is just ok.
    An ok restaurant overall.

  • I found this place decent. However, service needs to be changed. To place our orders, we had to wait at least 15 minutes. The appetizer was the Roadside Slider, which consists of 4 mini-burgers. They were decent; however, the burgers were made rather sloppy. The Pasta contained too many pepper and too few meat. The dessert looked nothing like the display. It was slightly melted and missing the topping of the dessert. I won't be heading back any time soon.

  • Order: Grilled Chicken Angel Hair Pasta and the Roadside Sliders and the Tiramisu

  • I've come here many times and ordered a variety of dishes, everything was always pretty good but this time the chicken sandwich was amazing, highly recommend it. Spaghetti and meatballs is always a favorite from here, same with the ceasar. Had a waitress who was a bit too pushy and "in our face", seemed constantly in a rush with very little time to tend to us, however we did not wait long for our food. Overall enjoyable.

  • Order: spaghetti and meatballs, ceasar salad, sonama chicken focaccia sandwich

  • Our server first appeared a full 30 minutes after we were seated. It took him a further 15 minutes to get coffee, which he spilled in the saucer. His service time didn't really improve through the meal. Now I hate it when those over-exuberant Montana's servers hover by your table asking you every 30 seconds if everything is fine, but this guy RAN past our table once every 10 minutes. Getting the attention of any other server was next to impossible as well. I didn't notice if they had a dedicated bartender, but the domestic beer was warm and the glass had been improperly chilled (there was ice hanging on the inner walls). I ordered Johnnie Walker Black on rocks was served (warm) neat JW Red. The only reason I didn't walk out was the chef, who completed the entrees in 10 minutes, which were rather good.

Fortunately, I wasn't with a client or a business contact, or it could have been disastrous.

I always liked Pickle Barrel's office catering, but this restaurant can kiss my future business goodbye.

  • This is not my favorite place to eat. The bf wanted to come so we did. My biggest problem was standing at the door waiting to be seated. You have three girls standing there doing nothing. They know your there but choose to ignore you. Then after 5 minutes you have another girl come along and ask "Are you waiting to be seated?" We say yes and obviously the three that are standing there doing nothing are too busy to do their job. She makes a point of telling them we have been waiting...no big deal to them. This time our waitress was really good. I find in the past our service has been terrible. Towards the end of the meal it gets better only because they're expecting a tip and figure may as well try and work for it now. I'm tired of the attitude that some have there. The food in general is just ok. And it's a shame. It used to be one of my favorite places to eat. I rated the service 9 only because of our waitress. As for the girls at the door that do nothing...0.

  • Order: Cheese burger and fries. Vegetarian wrap and fries. French onion soup.

  • The service was absolutely terrible. TERRIBLE. The restaurant closes at 12 and we were there at 10:30pm and the waitress RUSHED us completely in ordering our meal.

And then when we gave her our orders, she turned us down 3 times on options we wanted because the "kitchen was closed". We found it absolutely unacceptable.

The food was alright - but definitely not as good as it could be. They also denied us seating in a booth in the restaurant and sat us 2 feet away from a couple celebrating their anniversary.

I HATE this restaurant. I've been here 2-3 times and each time, the service was absolutely terrible and I wished they would fix it. Their waitresses were snobby and completely unaware of us.

  • First off the hostess was extremly rude and full of attitude, sat us at a dirty table and then told us to moved when we asked her to wipe it off. Our sever was worse then the hostess so we had to ask for a new one. In the middle of our meal I found chicken in my pasta .. I'm a vegetarian, not impressed. When we asked to talk to a manager, he came over and said " sooo.. there's chicken in your pasta ?? do you want something else " and that was it. I work in the industry and was there with 4 other ladies who do as well. That is not the way something like that is dealt with.

Never will go back.. Sorry Pickle Barrel. Your resturant is horribly run.
