Pi Tom's Thai Cuisine

I have been to pi-tom's many times and the food, service and atmosphere was very nice. The staff were very polite. I have ordered authentic pad thai, tamarind fish, and chicken curry. All of them were flavourful, especially the authentic pad thai. It was wrapped in an egg crepe and looked beautiful and yummy. I've also been satisfied at pi-tom's and look forward to my next visit there.

We went to the Pi TOm branch in Jarvis and Dundas only because we got a Dealicious coupon which we bought for $19 for $40. What a rip-off! We came there as 9 people to use 2 coupons. THey only allow use of 2 coupons in a group of 5 or more. I told the waitress that 3 people in the group are willing to move to another table to use the other coupon. She didnt allow it!!?? What the *&^%$#(! We could have easily split ourselves into 2 groups and she wouldnt notice that we are one group. But since she knows we came together and knew each other, she said.. "no, we dont allow a 3rd coupon. You all came as one group". The food was good actually . However, i am saying that it was a rip-off because serving portion was good for one person and not to be shared. But price is like $11-14 per dish . The mango chicken was full of veggies , some strips of mango and around 6 thin slices of chicken. That's it! The dishes were supposedly good but we were all hungry and dissatisfied when we left the place. We ended up paying $190 (minus the $80 coupon) for 9 people . So that is roughly $20/ head. For $20 for a lunch meal in Downtown TO, i could have eaten elsewhere to satisfy my palette. But no, all of us didnt come out happy. SO NEVER AGAIN! I dont think i will even use the extra coupon i bought. Will most likely ask for a refund.

PS The server was so clumsy. She was pouring water on each of our glasses and she didnt care that water was spilling all over the floor. Kept doing it that way for all the water glasses she served us.

Been to two different locations (2038 Yonge Street & 6A Alexander Street) in the past few days. Overall the service was OK at the Yonge location, but was good at the Alexander location. Authentic Pad Thai (has a little hint of soury taste to it which increases your appetite) and Peanut Chicken (a little light if you've tasted the Authentic Pad Thai first, rice came in small portion and is star shaped) was awesome. The Satay Chicken was good (just like any other places). Sticky Rice w/ Peanut Sauce (just sticky rice balls with peanut sauce on the side) and Pad Kee Mao (all I could taste was the spiciness) was so so though. The peanut sauce was good though (but then, I'm a huge fan of peanut sauce). Altogether, we would definitely go back for the Authentic Pad Thai, Peanut Chicken and Satay Chicken. It's definitely worth trying out if you've never been!

I eat here all the time! The food is fantastic, I've tried lots of the dishes here. But aside from the food, the service and ambiance are also amazing! Always friendly, and the decor inside is great. They have a beautiful outdoor eating area too, it's like a little oasis in the city. If you're near the Yonge/College area, you must try this place. You won't regret it!

This is AMAZING Thai food. The smells, the tastes, every nuance was so Thai, I was floored. I had been resigned to only finding "OK" Thai food in T.O. and now, there is great Thai!! If only the food wasn't so good, I would be raving about the friendly and attentive service we enjoyed. Even the presentation was delightful! Surprisingly low prices, too. GO!!

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. Excellent 2-course lunch special for $8! Fresh and delicious food, friendly service, and a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere. Go!
