Review: What a surprise this restaurant was. My boyfriend and I went because we wanted some really good Greek food. We checked out the reviews for this place and decided to go. I'm so glad we did!! It surpassed all expectations that we could have had. Upon arriving we were pleasantly greeted (by one of the owners I think..) She asked us if we had reservations and even though we didn't, we only had to wait 5 minutes before we were given (what I believe) was the best table in the house. The atmosphere in here is amazing. Romantic, rustic setting with a candlelit ambiance which was truly a cozy feel. That night, they had a live jazz band that played upbeat tunes which wasn't overly loud (we sat at the table right next to where they were performing). To our surprise, when the band completed their set, we were treated a host of Mediterranean songs and a belly dancer!! She did a tremendous job. What we thought was going to be a simple dinner turned out to be a night of decadent surprises!! We will definitely recommend this romantic, quaint restaurant to our friends and family....and we will DEFINITELY be back...oh by the way...the food is absolutley amazing!!! P.S. Save room for the chocolate torte...it's worth it!

Review: Went to this restaurant for summerlicious. Both myself and another person chose this restaurant because we wanted to try the lamb shank.
But when we arrived, they were sold out of the lamb shank. We didn't want to try their salmon or chicken dish not because we expected them to be bad but it was just that we really wanted to have lamb that day. So we asked if we could order a lamb-entree from the regular menu and we will pay the difference.
Waitress (forgot her name) was very accomodating and we ordered the lamb souvlaki, done medium. When it came out, it was a full-sized dinner entree and the lamb was perfectly cooked. The rice was perfectly done with a nice cheesy taste and the potatoes had a nice tangy finish.
Their appetizers (ordered the dip and mussels). Mussels were ok but the dip was very fresh. It was addicting to eat.
Their desserts were quite good and I especially enjoyed their phyllo wrapped dessert. Their Belgian chocolate torte was quite heavy for my taste but chocolate afficianados would definately enjoy it.
We paid a bit more for the lamb souvlaki as it wasn't part of the prix fixe menu but the price difference was fair and I was surprised at the portion size. Me and my date were so full, we couldn't eat for the rest of the day.
I especially appreciated the service, who accomodated our request for a lamb dish separate from the prix fixe menu. We just really wanted lamb that day and the waitress made sure we had our lamb. =)
All in all, it was a very positive experience and would definately come back for a regular dining experience. Service was very good, food was very good, ambience was appropriate and very nice.

Review: One of my favorites. For this price, it's rarely possible to find food this good. Many people recommended this restaurant before I went. I've joined the chorus.

Review: We live in the Danforth 'hood and this is our favourite place in the area. Charming room, terrific staff: Soula, the boss lady, Kelly, Scott, Voula et all make you feel very welcome. Food is routinely excellent. Often there is charming live entertainment though that is not the reason to go usually.
- Order: Have eaten here several times and have many of the entrees. Spanokopita appeteizer is best spinach pastry in the neighbourhood. Have had stuffed chicken breast, double pork chop, braised lamb shanks, rib eye steak in brandy reduction--all terrific. Reasonable and varied wine list is recently improved.
