I love this place. Order the great soup of the day along with the freshest of oysters. The steamed clams are to die for. A basket of frites completes the feast. Service is impeccable.

Great little place! Fresh oysters, good selection, nice servers. Lovely. Only one small criticism, and that is that they used to offer shrimp po' boys for brunch but not anymore, just oyster po' boys which are nowhere as good (too much breading and bread and not enough meat.)

We will go back to Oyster Boy soon again. We went just after New Years '09. They charged the oysters by market price so that time we paid $35 for a fresh dozen oysters from different regions. The server knew a lot of things about oysters and gave us his suggestions...good price & good service. You need to make a reservation in advance though because the place is quite small.
