  • Review: i went with my partner because --was to busy. At first nice greeting from the owner greta patio, nice service. I was quite shoked by the price of the wine but impressed with the selection and I found a sicilien wine for $37.00 giving the option of ordering more oil needed. The food was tasteless, oily . Carpaccio seved with thick parmesan piece too much oil on it and the beef had no flavoor. The aspargus cake had a very dry pastry, boring taste! The lam was the biggest disapoinement we are talking about a $45.00 dish here! two piece of lamb floating with ravioilis in brown jus, horrible looking to begin with and the meat had no flavour??? lamb with no flavour!! my partner didn't finish is dish he was so upset about it. I would be OK if it was a cheap restaurant but because of the prices I am expecting finesse and class... the food was boring as it can be...

  • Order: beef carpaccio with shaved parmesan and urugola, aspargus cake with salad, homemade pasta with garden vetebles and tiger shrimps, rack of lam on raviolis and cornish hens with rapini and cherry tomatoes

  • Review: The olive oil that came with the bread was a very high grade. The butter that I asked for was soft and creamy. Loved the rosemary flatbread.

I've never had anything so full of citrus flavour but not a single hint of bitterness. The spinach was perfectly cooked and a beautiful hue of green. The risotto was cooked just right.

The black cod was cooked spot on and the asparagus trimmed so there was no toughness left.

Tiramisu was a strong shot of coffee liqueur with fluffy marscapone. A crispy sugar layer topped the smooth and creamy creme brulee.

Dinner was fabulous. I wished they had offered us a chance to order some grappa, which they had loads of, but I guess that was due to the fact that we did not order any wine.

  • Order: Organic salmon with spinach risotto with marscapone cheese. Tiramisu Pan seared black cod with asparagus, roasted potatoes and buddha's hand. Creme brulee.

  • Review: All of the food was absolutely delicious. The Noce salad with walnuts was great, butternut squash soup warmed me to the toes. My husband loved the buffalo entree, for a change of pace. My potato gnocci was heaven on earth. The main dining room is a bit cramped, but has a cosy and lovely atmosphere. Service was fabulous and food outstanding. We would definitely come back. The only caveat is that the cheapest bottle of wine is $48, so that's a pricy markup. Otherwise great.

  • Order: Noce walnut salad, soup of the day was butternut squash soup, and our mains were buffalo for him, potato gnocci for me.

  • Review: Went with 2 of my girlfriends during Summerlicious and had the best experience here. The owner of the restaurant greeted us upon entering, and showed us to our table. Our waiter (as well as the other waiters working that nite) were quite attentive. My girlfriends and I couldnt stop raving about the food. Overall, had an excellent dining experience here. Will definitely come back for a regular sitting!

  • Order: Red wine (can't remember which brand). Appetizer - carpaccio // arugola salad // cured swordfish loin Main - grilled certified angus beef, red wine rosemary reduction, seasonal vegetables (x1) // homemade potato gnocchi, sautéed vegetables in a white wine sauce, lightly spicy with a hint of garlic (x2) Dessert - the olive oil cake (x3)

  • Review: My husband and I went for our anniversary for the first time. We based our decision by reviews we had read from various places and from a friend who had been there previously. Overall we enjoyed the meal and experience though I can't say it was fabulous. It was just good enough. When we arrived, I could tell the owner couldn't find our reservation even though I had called 3 days earlier to reserve. They had 2 tables available, which was fine. We ordered aperitifs (sparkling water and Campari)immediately and after they were delivered, we never saw our waiter again for about another 20 minutes. We were seated in the middle of the room so we couldn't have been forgotten about. This wasn't a big deal, as we weren't in a hurry, but I thought that was kind of long to wait because it does make you feel you've been forgotten about. Our appetizers (the ones we ordered along with the free taster the restaurant offered which was duck procuitto) was fabulous. My husband's bison steak was very good as well, but my whole sea bream was not. It was overcooked, on the dry side and not that flavourful, even though it was stuffed with a sprig of rosemary and lemon slice. And I have to say, I expect more from an upscale restaurant than to have to completely debone my fish myself. I'm an experienced fish eater and I did just fine, but I don't think most people are used to it and I can see how it can put most people off. We went to another restaurant recently that wasn't nearly as upscale called Karuchie and when I ordered a whole fish, the waiter actually explained the best way to debone it and made sure I did it right, which I thought was great service. Also, I'll just add that my orginal choice was a tuna that was one of the evening's specials but they were "out" by 8 pm, and the waiter explained it was because they order their fish everyday and don't order much. But to be out by 8 pm? That was minor, but I thought I'd mention it. Anyway, I would recommend this restaurant to others because most of the food was indeed fabulous, but Noce could work on tweaking a few things, especially since they are an upscale restaurant. I would not recommend ordering whole fish at Noce - I don't think seafood is their specialty.

Our meal came to about $225 including tip. Their extensive wine list contains mostly over $100/bottle wines but there are some between $40 and $60.

  • Order: Potato/Onion soup, Peppercreek Shiraz, whole sea bream (fish) cooked with rosemary and lemon
