Went for the $8.99 lunch buffet, and thought everything was quite tasty and high-quality. Flavorful with mild hotness.
My only complaint was the number of small bones in the goat curry -- had to gingerly chew to avoid hitting the many pieces of bone.

the lunch buffet that Everest have is one of the best for its price range ($8.99). they had 3 non-veg items and 4/5 veg items. everything was cooked perfectly -- butter chicken, goat curry and thandoori chicken really deserves a praise.... seeing the price of the buffet i was a bit skeptic initially about the quality of the food but i was very impressed with the food at the end .. I will surely visit again..

We had the lunch buffet. Now I've been to several lunch buffets in the Toronto area in this price range and this is by far the worst. Very few items. The "salads" consisted of iceberg lettuce and coleslaw. The butter chicken was all dark meat with bones, with most of the meat gone anyways. The tandoori chicken was good, as was the naan; but the buffet is awful and do not recommend it at all. There are much better locations on Queen Street.

The vegetarian dishes are fantastic. Each sauce is different and the vegetables and herbs are very fresh. Order the naan to go with your meal.

As you can tell by my rating, this is my favorite restaurant. The lunch buffet is always an adventure with a variety of meat and vegetarian dishes. Most dishes are mildly spicy, but once and awhile, they throw in a scorcher! I have eaten here for dinner and have ordered take out. I have never been let down. The food and service is spectacular, and the environment is very comfy and warm.

By the time we finished our two plates each piled high with food, we were too full for dessert. The servers also are constantly bringing out a basket to the each tables full of fresh na'an. Service was great, our water glasses were constantly re-filled. For the amount of food that we ate, the price was unbelievable... I think it came out to like 20 bucks for two people. This was my second time there and I will definately be back.
- Order: There was a buffet when we went. Not a huge selection of food, but there were I think 3 meat dishes, and maybe 4 or 5 vegetarian ones. I'm a vegetarian, so of course I only tried those. Everything was fabulous though, nothing was super spicy or overpowering. Just perfect.... there was also an sorrment of salads, yogurt and a few desserts.

A friend of mine and I "discovered" this place one day while shopping in the Annex. We have been going back ever since. The food is fantastic and each dish unique. The butter chicken is flavourful without being greasy, the baaji and samosas are fresh tasting and the aloo gobi is wonderful. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough for those who love Indian and Nepalese cuisine.
