I've read the 5 reviews here, I agree with the Lee Clan wholeheartedly. The reason anyone comes to Hua Sang Seafood Restaurant is for the 2 lobster special done in Ginger and Green Onion (do not order lobster in black bean sauce, I made that mistake cause frankly everything else tastes great with black bean sauce).
The rest of the Chinese food is above par, and I should know I live in Markham (Chinese food capital of the GTA) and I have very discerning taste buds. The food is freshly cooked, you can taste it in the choi (chinese veg) and the steam rice is nice and fluffy.
I won't say service is above par or below par, I think it is very good, slightly above average. But honestly I've been coming here for years and the lobster is SPOT ON EVERY TIME!!!!
I don't come for the service I come for the food period. Would I come again, I go every year for like 5 years now.
- Order: Ginger & Green Onion Lobster, Phoenix Nest, Bok Choy in garlic & oil

I heard that it's good but not that much. Actually, the lobster was so salty and other dishes were not that good. Even, the service was terrible, especially the waiter guy was so rude. After dinner, he requested tip(oh my god). If you don't want to spoil your good day, don't go there.

I'm Chinese, and so the food was similar to most Chinese sit down places I've been to, but the service was FAR lower than sub-par! I can't even say the server was having a bad day. first, he wouldn't even come to our table to even answer our questions about the menu until we wrote down what we wanted on a small paper square, and then when he took our plates at the end of our dinner, he silently cleared everyone's plate except mine and when I offered mine, he half shouted at me "NO! NO!" and walked away as he kissed his teeth and evidently didn't try to mutter under his breath "I didn't ask for yours"

Usually I prefer my lobsters with garlic butter and a roll, bit this one is the best lobster I've ever had. I never imagined Chinese style lobster would be so good. I'm definitely gonna go back again. The best lobster I've ever had.

The sub-par service is easily forgiveable given the amazing food taste and quality. Actually, we've been dining here for over 15 years so our service is pretty good :) The hot and sour soup here is one of the best in Toronto (there are only 3 or 4 places that make it good). The seafood soup that's on the menu (with watercress) is awesome, but we usually ask for the "thick one" which is heavenly. Chicken in hot pot is perfectly seasoned and full of flavour, not as saucy as in other restaurants; I've yet to find a place that makes it as tasty as Hua Sang. No, I didn't forget to mention the lobster. I had to save it for last to avoid salivating too much while I typed. Seriously though, I could make a full meal out of an order of lobster w/ginger&onion and a bowl of rice. Again, perfectly seasoned, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We usually order an extra one to take home. Just toss some around a bit in a wok or frying pan and you have the best "midnight snack" you've ever tasted! I suggest going for an early dinner to avoid waiting in line.

This restaurant is best known for its lobster in ginger & onion dish - the main reason we keep coming back here. The snail in black bean sauce dish is lesser known but is our favorite also. On the cleanliness side, this restaurant is typical of Chinese restaurant in the Toronto China town area.
- Order: lobster in ginger & onion sauce, snail in black bean sauce, deep fried soft shell crab, deep fried shrimp/squid/mussel combo, fried rice
