This place used to be kind of hit and miss, but now is a great spot for a casual dinner. It is managed by a really nice guy who used to work at Select Bistro and he is always pleasant and friendly. Their wine list is very nice especially since everything is under $10 a glass and has things I've never tried before (sometimes I think that this cities wine lists are all compiled by the same person) We have had really good burgers and sandwiches there and sometimes just awful food, but last night was almost like going to a really expensive restaurant. I especially like the fact they play music that doesn't drown out conversations (1940's jazz)

even distribution and pizza go hand in hand guys! All items listed on the menu should be in the food...our clubs were both missing guacamole and were wrapped in a very undercooked sour dough bread which was tasteless and doughy. The mac & cheese was missing tomatoes and basil which are what really make the dish have flavour therefore the dish was also tasteless. The sweet potato fries were soggy and cold. Overall we were quite dissapointed in our freshwood food experience on this occasion which is unfortunate as we have enjoyed plenty of meals from here in the past.

Totally disappointing. First: The patio ground is slanted so my partner felt he was leaning towards the table and I felt i had to keep pulling myself up towards the table. Second: I had the Fresh Mozzarella and Basil wrap which was disappointing. The Moz was unsalted so it kinda tasted like rubber. My partner had the Tandoori Chicken wrap and he also felt uninspired. The soup that came with it was boring and i had sweet potato fries which were soggy. The washroom is awful, the stall walls are only about 5 ft. high and right outside the women's washroom is a room where staff sit on the computer. The restaurant used to be a greasy spoon and it looks like they spent all the interior money on the interior, and the washrooms and patio are crap! I live up the street and won't be returning. Only good part was the cold Creemore on tap. Sorry.

Great neighbourhood place. Food is pretty good. Generally service is good but gets slow when they are busy. Seems a bit pricey but I guess margins are low in the restaurant business.
They don't have much competition on Roncesvalles so I hope that they do well. They are one of the few places on Roncesvalles where you want to go back often and not just occasionally.
Definitely worth checking out.

Newly opened. Interesting presentation of sandwiches - wood toasted flatbread wraps. Fresh-cut fries with in-house mayo. Try the pulled pork. Relaxed atmosphere. Gentle maple smoke throughout restaurant. Quiet patio at back.
