As soon as I walked in I felt uncomfortable. In fact, my no-nothing server annoyed me so much that I ended up getting my food to go. Terrible atmosphere, apathetic service, and overpriced food that didn't exactly warrant the expense. I don't recommend it. I'll stick to lunch at "Indus Junction" down the street. Now that's good food!

I will never go back to another Fresh location again. The food can easily be made at home and the hipster servers ignore you. We waited forty-five minutes for our food and watched other patrons who arrived after us receive their plates before us. One person a table across from us ordered the same exact dish as my date and was served five to seven minutes later while we still waited. How long does it take to make a wrap!
There are many other community minded vegetarian/organic restaurants in Toronto and I'm sure that many of them would appreciate your business much more than the Fresh Empire does.

The place looks like a fast food joint trying to pretend it's something else. I find it over priced for run of the mill healthy food- i mean most of the stuff has rice in it and we know how cheap that stuff is. It seemed like a future McDonald's. Drinks i found also over priced as we opted to go with water and then go for a nice glass of wine somewhere with a better atmosphere. The wine list is not great and severly over priced. Servers where nice enough- trendy queer hipsters but not overly helpful.
If you want healthy vegetarian/vegan cooking there a better places to go for the same price- I think Fresh should not pretend it's something it's not and lower it's prices and then it would be exactly what it looks like. - Order: mushroom and onion burger water

I ordered the "Green Goddess" and it is delicious. It's a Japanese inspired dish as it has tosted nori, pickled ginger, and tamari sauce in it.
It's served on a bowl of hot brown rice and comes with steamed greens on top and as written on the menu comes with sunflower seeds, ginger-tamari sauce, and tahini sauce but I don't like seeds or tahini sauce so I always get it without. This dish can also be served on hot or cold soba noodles.
Their menu is long and diverse and you can customize any meal you wish. From amazing salads to big veggie burgers on toasted whole wheat buns, this is a vegetarian/vegan's dream restaurant. - Order: "Green Goddess" - ginger-tamari sauce - tahini sauce - sunflower seeds - toasted nori - steamed greens (kale, baby bok choy, broccoli, spinach) - brown rice - pickled ginger
