Dumpling House Restaurant

The food here is an incredible value, with excellent ingredients, and it is all super fresh. I would recommend sticking to the dumplings because they've become very concious about how clean the front of the house is, where the dumplings are made. I still don't trust anything from the back of the house.

Yes, there were rats in there, and it was a bit filthy before that incident. It is much better now. My stomach may be stronger than most, though, because I've worked in some great food service places, and no matter how clean it appears to be, every commercial kitchen HAS RATS AND COCKROACHES! You just have to deal with it, and hope the inspectors are doing their jobs.

Rats or not I have never had a better dumpling in my life.... Rats are part of big cities, get over it and enjoy the dumplings .. I promise there are no rats in them!

Dumplings were so so but seeing the pictures of the FOUR RATS in the toronto star newspaper is a real turnoff. The RODENTS WERE ON THE TRAYS WHERE THEY MAKE THE DUMPLINGS!

So overrated. I'd rather eat Shanghai Dumplings and Scallop Shrimp dumplings any day over this place.

Rats be ****ed (it was hardly an infestation that TO bloggers were making it out to be) This place still makes the best dumplings EVER. They've also really cleaned it up, worth a visit anytime when you have that dumpling craving.

Tastiest dumplings ever. Really.

Great dumplings! I order them often. I am a dumpling fanatic, and try them whenever I see them on a menu. This place takes the cake. The bonus: you can buy them fresh frozen and make them at your leisure.
