Danforth Roti Shop

My boyfriend is Trinidadian and he has given this place a seal of approval. This place is definitely the type of place that you would go for good food, not necessarily to enjoy the atmosphere because the seating is limited. The place is owned and run by real Trinidadian people who are so nice. The roti was amazing! and they use dhal paratha roti. I have to go now...I'm craving some doubles, alloo pie, and roti!

Overall, for a downtown location, this is much better than I would expect. So it is definitely a recommendation if you're looking for a decent roti, that will fill a small country with decent curry. Would I go out of my way for Danforth's Roti ... probably not. However as it is downtown and convenient, I would definitely go back to try other things on their menu and probable another roti.

This is the best roti shop ever! Their rotis actually melt in your mouth. The service is fabulous. The staff always greet you with a smile and always make you laugh. Very clean place, I go there all the time to eat. They have many daily specials and the doubles honestly are the best I have ever had in Toronto.
