I recently visited Solo Maria restaurant in Richmond Hill. Both of us had a pasta entree. We found the service and food to be impeccable. Maria came out from the kitchen and made usf feel like family. We will definetly visit again, as there are a number of dishes on the menu that we would like to try.

Went with a friend for dinner on Sep 23, 2011. Food doesn't get much better than this. I had a huge and delicious pan of paella and my friend had a declicious gnocchi. The desserts were a little disappointing (banana cheesecake and burnt sticky toffee pudding) but the entrees were some of the best food I've had in years. Will definitely go back soon.
- Order: Cheddar tomato gnocchi, paella, desserts.

We were looking for something new and more importantly, interesting in the wasteland of mediocre eateries that seem to be the norm in The Beaches area for the last few years. A few neighbours suggested we try Bibiche which is located at the eastern most stretch of Queen St. Apparently this place has been around for almost 25 years now but only relocated to the hood a little over 2 years ago. What a great surprise! Classic and inventive bistro fare in an ever changing menu that although small, offers some great choices for those with a more adventurous palate. Our gang of four had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and are planning a return visit very soon. The atmosphere is cozy and charming; the service is personable and welcoming. 4 enthusiastic thumbs up!

We had been in the search for "the place" and we found it at Bibiche bistro. The food was great, service was very personalized and music and atmosphere were very pleasant. We made reservations and despite being a very small but cozzy place we arrived late and the table was still waiting for us. The waitress who I think is also the owner, gave us great suggestions. No sissapintment at all.

I tried to write a review for this before but the whiteys from the internet didn't like what i had to say. Some serious problems with this restaurant though. First of all does anyone know how to say the name of this place?? Didn't think so. So I went to get KFC bucket chicken with a side of popcorn (Jburgler was so happy, he loves the popcorn chicken). We then got stoned out of our trees and ate popcorn chicken and KFC bucket chickens. So gooood!
- Order: kfC chicken bucket

Bibiche is a very nice little spot, a cozy and intimate atmosphere, and (for a nice change) friendly and efficient service. The food is very tasty and they're extremely generous in portion size. Definitely looking forward to a return visit.

We found ourselves at the most eastern edge of The Beach and were looking for somewhere new when we opted to try Bibiche Bistro. It was a cold Friday evening in February and this small restaurant (seats only 25) was very busy. The gentleman who greeted us said they would have a table in about half an hour and would be happy to take our cel number should we wish to return. We agreed and were promptly called about 25 minutes later.
The first thing that struck us was the friendly and informed service we received. The restaurant itself is cozy and warmly decorated.
We opted to share Mussels Mariniere, Pear and Walnut Salad and Duck Liver Pate for appetizers. The mussels were beautifully prepared in a white wine and cream sauce. The salad was refreshingly dressed with a lemon, honey and mustard dressing and the homemade pate was exquisite. For mains we had the Pistachio Chicken, Fresh Arctic Char, Boeuf Bourguignon and Magret Duck Breast. The crunchy chicken was enhanced by a great orange-tarragon sauce, while the Char was simply glazed with balsamic and white wine. Both were cooked beautifully. The Bourguignon was rich and filling as should be. The Duck Breast was cooked to the requested pink and the Brandy Wild Cherry Sauce was lovely. All the dishes were served with interesting spiced rice and a very original and wonderful braised red cabbage with asparagus and apples.
The homemade desserts included one the best Crème Brullee we have ever tasted and a wicked Warm Banana, Chocolate and Pecan Bread Pudding.
With 2 bottles of wine the bill came to a bit over $200 before gratuity – a steal for such a great and filling meal. We all agreed this is a new favourite and plan a return visit very soon. Highly recommended!

Lovely little spot in The Beach and a nice change from a lot of dismal places in this neighbourhood. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and with 2 bottles of Syrah, the bill came to just a little over $200. Attentive and friendly service. Definately a new favourite!
- Order: Mussels Mariniere, Pear Salad, Pistachio Chicken, Duck Magret, Lamb Shank, Sea Scallops & Chocolate Ice Cream Pie.
