Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill

The food was appalling...I had a pot pie and inside the pie was a hair which looked like a pubic hair. This place looks like an old folks home full of people ready for the graveyard....the average age eating there would be about 85 years old. The service was slow which I guess was on par with the speed that the customers moved at.

I LOVE GOING TO THIS RESTURANT AND I USUALLY GOTO IT!!! I LOVE IT :D

This Swiss Chalet is unbelievably GREAT! The food was served hot! The server was a little slow but very friendly. My sister and brother in law deliberately sat in the server's area as they liked the efficient service they always receive. Yes he may be a bit slow but we had everything served piping hot! I would return here in a blink of an eye!

We visited Swiss Chalet and it was the worst dining experience I have yet to experience. It took over 45 minutes for us to receive our meals which were COLD and sloppily presented. THERE WAS A FINGER IMPRINT IN MY COLD MASHED POTATOES! The service was horrific; the server took our orders and did not return at all until it was time to give us the bill. Customers who had arrived much later than us were served and gone before we had even received our food. This of course should have been an indication that we should have just left! Never again will we return to this establishment, it is horrific! Other locations are much more efficient. Do not go to the Thunder Bay Swiss Chalet unless you want to wait an hour for terrible food and appauling customer service.

My mother, grandmother and I frequent this restaurant. Darlene is a wonderful server and we now ask for her every time we visit the place. She knows what we like and always brings my mother/grandmother the wine they love before they even have to ask. The food is usually pretty good too, although the fries sometimes are little stubs and the chicken can be a bit dry. Most of the time it is excellent, though. Good work! :)

Serving staff was friendly and quick, but wow, the food was pretty terrible! The vegetables with my sandwich were dry and tasteless, so I couldn't eat my veggies, the chicken in the sandwich and the wrap was really dry, the pot pie was said to be worse than frozen ones, the only thing that was good were the dry ribs, and rack of ribs. They didn't know how to make a good long island iced tea, either!

I could also tell that my sandwich was made before the other meals were cooked, half of it was cold - I guess they couldn't fit the whole plate under the heat lamp.
