The Sun Room

A favorite for strir frys, the service is always excellent, location and parking are both good. Another one of the Stratford restaurants that is busy year round, not just during tourist season. Reservations are often made a year ahead. They also have small photo albums of guests and change the photos regularly. Good food at moderate prices.

Busy night, service was great especially our waitress! I wasn't feeling well, she went out of her way with her assistance. My son enjoyed his dinner immensely while I took mine home for later. I totally agreed with him. My meal was delicious, even hours later! The food portion sizes were more than enough. I definitely will go again. The only thing was that it was a bit noisy, but I wasn't up to it at that point.

This was not my first meal at the Sun Room. I'd eaten here before and enjoyed the ambiance and the food. The ingredients are fresh and the food delicious. The restaurant is small and can get very busy, so sometimes service is not as prompt as one would expect. Reservations are recommended.

I heard great things about the Sun Room in Stratford and we were anxious to try it out. I was very disappointed. The lunch special I ordered was fairly good, but appetizer sized. When I mentioned this to the server, she said it was because it was beef and beef costs more! I had to ask for some bread as the beef skewers (three little ones) only came with a half cup of Asian salad. The service was very slow to top it off. A group of women next to us waited almost an hour to be served -- and they had theatre tickets. The owner did try to make things better by offering me (not my wife) a free dessert. An okay dessert, but I was put off. To make matters worse, at the end she said I should have ordered a different dessert because it was bigger! Not very nice. I've heard that the SunRoom is under new management, but I cannot verify that rumour.

My husband and I love visiting the sunrrom for supper every year when we are in Stratford! A very nice lady in a store in Stratford recommended this one and she said it was comparable to the more expensive places in Stratford, with a more affordable menu with just as much atmosphere! We love it here and continue to book every time we're in Stratford for holidays in the summer! In fact, I was just getting ready to reserve now! Enjoy!

I went here last summer, so it's been a long time but I wanted to write a review based on what I remember.

This restaurant is amazing! Everything from the service to the food. It's a bit pricey, but totally worth it. If you're going to eat here I would suggest you make reservations!

Everything about this restaurant is outstanding, especially the food. We have visited annually for 8 years and always reserve here. The only downside would be that it can be difficult to get a table due to the popularity, reservations are a must!!
