The Boathouse & Riverside Patio

This place is hidden away under the tourist information booth in the York street parking lot. It is beside the boat rental.

A small patio area with 6 or 7 tables for 4 and sun shade canopies sits beside the area the Juliette III loads its patrons. The area is clean and tidy. Food is self-serve.

The menu has 4 combination sandwiches that come with Chips (Miss Vickies) priced at $5.25 and $6.25. These were large and ample for the price. Made to order sandwiches, the usual turkey and Black forest ham and also Smoked sausage, Hot Dog and PB&J. All come with a selection of extras like, Relish, dijon mustard, hot peppers and so on. These are all priced under $5.00

Although they have the usual ice cream treats...all reasonably price I might add....the hit for us was the $1.00 soft ice cream cones (you can also get a slightly larger $1.50 cone. These certainly hit the spot on Sunday after our brisk walk around the river.

The Boathouse is not licensed, but has a good selection of soft drinks both carbonated and non-carbonated.

This is a cute little spot for a quick reasonably priced sandwich.

As the summer wears on and if it is hot there is the possibility that the classic river smell may make this less than appetizing. Hopefully that won't become an issue.....But for now...drop in and have a $1.00 cone.
