Sids Sports Pub & Eatery

The food is what you would expect at a sports bar. Burgers...which are quite good especially on the special burger night when they are half price. There are the usual run of sandwiches and the finger foods are as usual deep fried almost without execption. The food is what it is. Decently presented and what it is described as. Service was good on all occassions we have been there. It was prompt and pleasant at all times.

Washrooms are very dirty...at least the mens was to the point of having an odor. The womens of course I didn't go into...but it was reportedly much the same.

A couple of things I would avoid are the ribs and the onion rings. Not that they are bad, but that they are WAY over priced. A half rack is $16. It consisted of about 6 small ribs, joined and fries. The rings are frozen...not surprised and come in a medium sized bowl. They were certainly passable but at $7 I wanted them to be a bit more. These sort of jacked the bill up on the last visit to the level that made things sting a bit on leaving. $62 for some ribs, rings, two sandwiches and a couple of draft beers...hmmm....a bit much.
the NHL playoffs....or is that the extension of the NHL regular season? (that is for another debate I guess)... was on the TV's loud and clear. Not annoying by the way. With the NHL season now lasting almost the entire year you wonder if the TV's ever see any other sport.
the person beside us ordered the all-you-can-eat tacos. Turns out they are not really all you can eat. The tortillas where served correctly and there were 3....the rest of the fixings were arranged on the plate. The guy made three tacos and asked for another plate. Most of his cheese was used up and his salsa and sour cream where gone. The gal brought back a small bowl with meat and 3 more tortillas....the guys asked where the other stuff was to make a proper taco....she replied..."we only give you the garnishes once"

So much for all you can eat tacos. I got up and rubbed the word "all" off the white board.

not too bad, a little slow

Very delicious food. It was a great place to hang out with your friends and the atmosphere of sid's was very fun. Lots of things to do like watch the games on T.V or if you want to you could go to play the arcade games. Overall it was great.

it has a great atmosphere with the whole sports theme, and i thought the food was awesome, and it was a fairly short wait. the waitress was a bit snobby and we waited a while for our water, but overall its a great place to eat and hang out, and i would definitely go back

We've been into Sids before, and had a great meal, and this time was no excpetion. The food was EXCELLENT. I'm sorry to say though, that the service was BEYOND terrible this night! Our server was RUDE, UNFRIENDLY, and mistakes on the drink order, and billing. She was so rude, we wouldnt even consider leaving her a tip.

I'd go back to Sids, but I would think twice about it if this young woman is working. Sad really. I thought the place was starting to turn it around.

Sids restaurant has recently reopened and has been renovated. It's decor is visually pleasing, the service and the food was great. Glad it's back - especially with 1/2 price burger night special on Thursdays. Can't wait to go again!

newly re-opened under original owner - glad to see this place cleaned up and food returned to it's original quality - great service. Good location downtown.

service was very slow.... and it wasn't busy!!!!

Excellent menu, great atmosphere, amazing food. Good place to catch a game or shoot some pool.
