Joe's Diner

We gave this place a chance and thought it couldn't be too bad as it is right near downtown Stratford with its range of excellent eateries.

Oops - wrong. Totally uninspired in every way. Do they play up the "Diner" theme? No. Is it at least cheap? Not especially. Is there interesting music? Ugh, no - classic "lite" rock.

And they were actually out of buns for the burger I ordered - which would have been entirely flavourless if not for the condiments (which I had to ask for as they don't have anything except for white vinegar on the tables.

Do yourself a favor and walk a couple hundred extra meters to York Street... or Tango... or Features... or Sirkel...

I go to Joes for breakfast ONLY>> their dinners are pure hell but they are amazing or breakfast..
i had the breakfast club.. its the best one ive ever eaten

they also have this.... creation its like a hash with egg and sausage in it which is very good aswell..

This was the worst beef dinner I ever had, tough hardly cut it with knife. desserts were so small you thought we ate at a 5 star restaurant. The place was dirty, and Joe was too.We probably wont be back.Cost was too much for what you got served.

We sat down at a table with the place about half full, and were ignored by the serving staff. No water, menu, not even a hello.

The server walked by us 3 times, then proceeded to bus other tables and reset them.

We left.

Wonderful!! I had the liver and onions that day and it was the best i had ever had! The pasta looked delicious as well. I was served with a smile and the dessert was fantastic. Very good size portions!! (Joe's diner is the best little diner in town!!!!)

The portions were too small for the price. Rice wasn't cooked enough. I found hair in my cabbage roll.
Discusting place, no wonder they went out of business and were replaced by Joe's Dinner (but even they aren't very good either).

I LOVE YOUR RESTAURANT BUT YOU DON'T HAVE A PHONE NUMBER FOR TAKE OUT, AND IF I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT WAITING TIME, AND YOUR RESTAUANT IS NOT IN THE PHONE BOOK .
