  • Visited this restaurant with my wife (and 3 month old daughter in a baby carrier). As soon as we sat down I noticed a foul smell. Couldn't figure out what it was initially, then I realized it came from the table. I suspect it had been wiped down with a cloth that hadn't seen the business end of a cleaning implement in some time. Instructed my wife not to touch the baby after touching the tables. Off to a great start.

We placed our orders, which were pretty simple. I ordered a half sub and salad, and my wife ordered a personal pizza and salad. Her pizza and salad were fine (when they finally came, the service was ridiculously slow), but my order wasn't. The sub was cold and seemed barely paased near a source of heat. The house salad dressing tasted like low end vegetable oil combined with the heady flavour of dirt. Easily the worst dressing I've ever tasted.

Over all, our experience at this Boston Pizza was in keeping with our experiences at other Boston Pizzas in the GTA: Slow service, and mediocre to poor food. We've written the whole chain off, and won't make the mistake again.

  • It was my dad's 51st birthday. Its tradition in our family to go out on everyone's birthday to a restaurant of their choice (or in my case, since I work in a restaurant, stay home and have big steaks). We had been to this Boston Pizza once before and found it adequate. Today would not be a repeat performance.

Firstly, I'd like to state that the restaurant was not entirely busy. There were other tables, yes, but it was nowhere near packed. We were not greeted by the hosts with a smile or even a "how are you, how many today?". We got a "bar side or restaurant?". Fine, whatever. Maybe she was having a bad day. We were seated at a dirty table. And then we waited... and waited... and waited. For ten minutes we were ignored by our server, Lindsay. Shockingly, yes, I know her name, because I still have the receipt.

Finally she decides to arrive at the table, makes no apology for the delay, and proceeds to take our drink and appetizer order. Ten minutes later, she returns with our drinks and apologizes because the appetizer we ordered was not available. Whatever, we ordered something else, along with our main course. It was about this time that dad pointed out that the vents were screeching loudly, and ultimately, that was all we heard for the rest of our dinner. I still have the headache.

Our appetizer arrived. It looked great. The taste? Not so much. It seemed like everything on the platter was seasoned with the same mixture of hot spices that ultimately made my and my parents' mouths buzz. I shrugged it off. The menu had warned that it would be spicy.

Our main course arrives finally, and I order another pepsi and dad orders a lemonade from someone who was not our waitress. I'm starved and the wings look great. I bite into my -honey garlic- wings, and they are SPICIER than the mild wings we had had with the appetizer. The celery sticks are warm and limp. My mother's Tuscany pizza was still doughy and raw in the middle, and my father was not impressed with his deluxe pizza.

My pepsi arrives, but dad's lemonade is missing in action. She wanders off to get it, and returns maybe seven minutes later with it. Then off she goes again, ignoring our existence until its time to pay. She hands us the bill and once again disappears into oblivion. We stand at the debit machine, waiting for someone to help us for a few minutes, before another person, again, not our waitress, comes over to ring us through. She was snotty and sarcastic. Leaving the restaurant today was probably the best experience I will ever have with Boston Pizza, because I am NEVER going back again.

  • Order: Tuscany individual pizza, honey garlic wings, Appi Sampler, deluxe individual pizza

  • My server Diana was excellent and attentive. The food was very impressive and the atmosphere was delightful. We are regulars there and they know us by name. Our drinks are on the table before we even sit down. Thanks for the wonderful time staff and management of Boston Pizza Stoney Creek!!!

  • Order: I ordered the popeye pizza and my husband had the delicious steak sandwich which was cooked perfectly.

  • I get very frustrated with Boston Pizza, because they have such a fantastic looking menu, but I have been disappointed with almost EVERYTHING I have ordered there. The beef dip sandwich was so boring, bland- how do you wreck a beef dip? And the 3 cheese thing was disgusting! Overcooked pasta, greasy sauce, yuck. Everything I've tried is very processed, no spice, etc. It's so disappointing, because the menu looks so good, and I want to like the restaurant very much, but I just don't! Especially when you pay so much to eat something you've got to choke down. I know I'll keep trying though... there's got to be SOMETHING decent to eat there. The service and the atmosphere is great, though! They are a very kid-friendly restaurant. I like that. That is probably why I'll keep going back.

  • Order: 3 cheese something-or-other

  • The staff is great and the managers are all very friendly. They come over and check how everything is and if we ever have a problem they will fix it no questions asked. The sports bar is great at night, lots of fun drinks to have...fishbowls!!!

  • Order: The gourmet pizzas, wings and pasta are awsome.

  • On our way home myself and my wife we decided to check out Boston Pizza instead of the new turtle jacks. Service was a little slow considering it was dead slow. I felt like ribs and ordered a full rack with sauce onside beside i don't like soggy food ( wings, ribs, cereal etc..). Drinks were fine then our meals came like we ordered and our waitress said to me " Your ribs don't look right with no sauce, you should put some sauce on them, they look disgusting". I own 3 restaurants and run 2 others as a consultant. That comment was the worst thing i have heard in the business. Not to interested in going back again
