To start we had the bagel chips with spinach and artichoke dip which came out in a reasonable time. Our server had visited our table 5 times to pester us by the time we had finished our appetizer. Each time he talked it was directed only towards my girlfriend. After the 2nd visit she told me that the server was making her feel uncomfortable by his obvious attempt to flirt.

The wood grilled chicken with herb and lemon sauce was well cooked though lacked any real flavour. The herb and lemon sauce appears to be the same served with their seafood. Melted butter, some lemon, garlic and not much else.

The peppercorn filet with shrimp came with roasted potatoes, asparagus and carrots. The asparagus was cooked perfectly but by the end it was apparent it had some sort of grit on it. The peppercorn filet was served medium well though medium was order. When I cut the steak and showed the waiter the lack of any pink colour he stared at me blankly like I was colour blind. He finally decided to replace the overcooked meat. The 2nd steak that came out had no colour and seemed more cooked then the last one. We ate what we had and soon left disguised at the quality of the service and food.

I would not recommend anyone go to this restaurant expecting a 'steakhouse quality' meal. On the positive side, the quality of the raw food was seemingly high -- they just lacked the knowledge on how to properly prepare it.

contrary to what we read , we had the best server!!! hHe was very attentive to our 9 year old grandaughter and we had a great time!!! Would visit again for sure. I believe his name was Shay. Codos to him for dispelling the rumour!!!!

the escargot is very tasty & different from other places, the ceasar salad is really good. steaks are always excellent, especially their peppercorn sauce, chicken frangelico is my personal fave! they do tapas now as well which are pretty good too, but we do prefer the regular menu items.

the best seafood & steaks & of course oysters...the oysters are fresh on the 1/2 shell with an assortment of toppings...steaks are cooked to perfection...we go there twice a month for dinner. some of the servers could be better though.

Very average food at best. I do a better job at home on my bbq. everything lacked flavor

we go to the st. cath & n. falls locations for lunch, dinner or just drinks atleast 4 times a week. by far the friendliest staff & best food around. we sit in the bar for a drink or quick meal, or in the dining room for a nice, relaxed dinner with friends or family. delmonico steak, pizzas, burgers for lunch, everyhting is always excellent. must try!

We go there all the time, & there is 2 locations, so we frequent both locations, Niagara & ST. Catharines. Food is always surpasses excellency, & there is a band that plays on thursday Nights in the N. Falls one along with them serving tapas, always a great time. John

Excellent pan seared roughy...have been there to order this over & over off the weekly specials menu, definately a great choice

First time we had been there - took y son for his graduation from Brock. Much better than the Keg. Good sizes and service was very good.

I think a requirement to work here is to think that you are better than everyone else and to act like the customers are an inconvenience in your evening. These are the rudest staff I have ever experienced. The hostesses obviously did not want to be there, and seemed more interested in chatting with each other than seating our group. After reading other reviews here, I see this is normal behavior. We had made reservations for 8, and it was 8:45 by the time we were seated. While waiting for the table we decided to go up to the bar, the bartenders made eye contact multiple times with us when we were standing at the bar and never offered us help, I had to interrupt their conversation to order drinks and eventually when she gave them to us she couldn't even be bothered to say a single word like "hear you go" or "enjoy" ...not a word. We finally got seated and their was barely enough room for us to fit, the tables were way to tightly packed, I want to eat dinner with my group, not with strangers basically right beside us. When our food came out, two of our steaks were cooked improperly, more like medium-well not the medium rare we ordered. We considered sending the steak back, but by the time the waiter finally returned it was too late as we basically would have been eating in two groups. In my opinion this restaurant gets three strikes; poor management to keep patrons waiting for 45 minutes past their reservation time, poor service by all staff encountered, and poor food. I will not be back.
