Vaughan's International Cuisine

I come here at least once a week. Vaughan's Garlic Dip is, by far, the best dip in town. Period. So creamy, and garlic-y; "to die for" is an understatement. Really. Sure, you'll wreak like garlic for days, your spouse won't kiss you, but it's worth it. The hummus is superb as well.

Both of these are included the the Dinner Plate, which is a very, very generous serving of food -- essentially it needs to be split by two people, as there is a lot of food coming at you. Salads, hummus and garlic dip with pita (amazing!), as well as vegetables, rice, stuffed wine leaves, chicken / beef shish kabob, (I'm not a huge fan of the beef, but it gets better everytime.), falafel, and a few others I can't recall. (Sorry, I'm ADHD inattentive, my attention to details is lacking.)

Throw in a couple beers, and you've got a great dinner for 2 for around $30. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere could use a little modernizing, but there's ample windows in there, so the restaurant in itself is very comfortable.

everything is amazing here, except the sandwiches, the only reason why is because they are made huge with little meat and the rest lettuce. I LOVE the eggplant casserole, amazing falafels and fatoush. Go here, you will not be dissapointed. Good service too and music.

We eat here often and it's always GREAT food with GREAT service!!

Food and service are spectacular. Very rudimentary amenities, there must be enough fans blowing to elevate a helicopter.

But getting back to the important information, the food was GREAT. Beautifully cooked soft rice. Seasoning on the chicken was a nice balance between sweet and spicy. Dips for starters had full flavors.

We love this Restaurant. I have never given any restaurant a 10 on the food. Vaughan's is always superb.
What makes this special is that Vaughan, the owner also prepares the food and takes pride in it.
The food is authentic and fresh. Portions are huge and the price is reasonable.
You must try the garlic pudding. It is the best. I know it does not sound great but it truly is. He serves it with pita. We love this so much that I often run in and grab some for take out and serve it as appetizer when I have company for dinner. He refuses to tell me how he makes it.

This place has great food and price to match it all around.
I recommend this place to everyone especially to students.
Trust me when you come here you will come back. Vaughn has the best Chicken pita in St. Kitts, trust me.

it was our first time coming here and we were very happily surprised. it's a very quaint little place and very comfortable. we were surprised at how much food we got considering how relativley inexpensive it was. for both of our dinners plus appetizers we only paid $25. we both loved our food but couldn't eat it all because about halfway through we were both stuff. the hummus was the best i ever had.

Great value and friendly atmosphere; the food is garlicky but excellent and abundant. Very good vegetarian options, which is unusual in St. Catharines.

A very casual and simple downtown place with the owner, Vaughan, being the highlight. It kinda’ took me back to the old country. The place is modest, the food is very good and the variety is decent. He has his own twist on cooking, but his spices are appropriate and the meat is very tender. The Kufta Kebob and the Chicken were very good. The rice is cooked with pine nuts, a considerable luxury. Wished he had used Basmati instead of long grain. It is by far the best long-grain rice I’ve had. I am giving a 9 mostly because it is hard for me to give a 10. For class, price and location it is actually a surprisingly wonderful place.
