The Office Tap & Grill

We enjoyed the options on the menu and would like to return to try some other items. The server was slow and he didn't seem interested in taking our order. The girls that work there seemed to be on the ball though. The food was adequate. The water was terrible - tasted like parsley. The atmoshpere has a welcoming and trendy feel to it.

This place is absolutely excellent! What a gem! We decided to try after reading the reviews here... The decor is gorgeous, the atmosphere is perfect. It's not what you'd expect with a name like "The Office Tap & Grill"... This isn't another greasy spoon.

The food is incredibly delicious and obviously carefully made with fresh ingredients. We've tried the nachos, chicken club and beef skewers (6 bucks appy) and all were incredible. The menu is simple with fair prices.

Our only complaint was slightly slow service on both visit. Regardless, we'll be going back again and again.

If you want to he=ave a dinner party, this is the place! We had a large group and opted for the "Chef's Choice" $12 per head menu. We had an amazing meal and a a knock-out time. Thank you Sarah!

This restaurant really does simple food well. We ordered very basic menu items like the burger and fish & chips and were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful flavours and overall quality of the food. The burger isn't just a burger, it's an enormous sirloin burger with a "just like dad's" homemade flavour. The fish wasn't just your run-of-the-mill greasy fish & chips it was lightly dusted, pan-seared, crispy and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. The decor and atmosphere were pleasing to the senses. An all-around pleasurable experience.

Wow, what a great find, we are new in the area and went there because of the reviews. We think it is just amazing, coming from Vancouver we are used to cool food and decor. This place hits all the marks, can't wait to go back. Try the burger & nachos, they will blow you away!!

Just a note to "disappointed" below.... The lamb shank is a "drumstick" that's what a shank is! If you want to pay $11 for an entree you can't expect a rack of lamb! It is delicious and the flavours are amazing.

Was a little hesitant to try this place out but was really blown away. Food was really, really delicious. Service was very friendly and attentive despite the number of people there and being the only server working that night. Portions are great and prices are very inexpensive. Will be back again for sure.

I had the lamb, it was a huge "drumstick" that contained mostly gristle, fat and bone. Very little lamb. The garlic roast potatoes were not bad but the gravy had an after taste which I could not get rid of even after having a "halls" in the car immediately after. The seasonal vegetables were scanty and quite limp (over cooked)
We visited this restaurant solely based on the 9.3 rating on this site and we found the service good the server was pleasant and the wait was normal, decor and atmosphere was ok. Not much choice on the menu for meals.
I would never go back, ever we have been to dozens of restaurants in the area the past year and this is definately the first meal we didnt remotely enjoy

I love the atmosphere of The Office, think the staff are top-notch, and think it is a great place for hanging out with friends over a drink after work.(I work in an government office a few blocks away, so it is right nearby) As a vegetarian, however, I find that the food available to me is pretty uninspired - eg. a run-of-the-mill frozen veggie burger, frozen samosas, and a bland vegetable curry on rubbery rice. I'd go there more than once every few months if I could get something decent to eat. They seem to have good cooks on staff, but the veggie options are really sub-par compared to the other menu items.
