Opa And Oma's Diner

We have visited Opa and Oma's MANY times, with up to 7 or 8 people in our party. We are always seated by the charmingly grumpy staff without too much delay. The quintissential greasy spoon diner, if you are looking for a good cheap breakfast after a long night Opa and Oma's is the place to go. Upon first visiting, you may be intimidated by some of the seemingly angry servers, but trust us, you'll start to love the abuse...

We like this place very cheap, the servers know exactly what we like to get.
It is a cute small place so do not plan on a big party to attend here, opened until 2 but they serve breakfast until then it is very consistent and nice staff we went there through my entire pregnancy before and after..
Breakfast is very affordable

This is the most consistant restaurant we have ever been in. The food is always great. The breakfasts are perfect. Yes, sometimes the "young' girls are slow but that is a small price to pay for a great diner!!!!

This place is really comfortable, its a sweet little family run business with great service and good food. The breakfasts are really great and the prices are excellent. Lunch time over there is pretty good as well, If you order Greek food you will not be disappointed, it is excellent. I go there all the time for breakfasts I never leave unhappy

It's a cozy atmosphere, and popular with locals and some elderly patrons for the familiarity and the price (which can't be beat). However, the food is only average - I expect a cheese omelette to be made with real cheese, not the pre-packaged plastic crap - and unless you know the staff or servers, they won't pay you any more attention than they have to.

The food was very good, it didn't look like alot of food but we left feeling full and satisfied. The waitress we had was very attentive and stopped by to see if all was ok at least twice.

Saturday after 9:30am we arrived with a group of 7...3 hungry men. We enjoyed the company, there was no rush to get us out as we lingered. The food was great and we ate well for less than $50. It was great....the owners came and talked with us.There were obvious regular customers. The diner was packed. People came and left and many more filed in. We will return.

What do you really expect from a place like this? If you want cheap breakfast and relatively fast service it delivers. If you expect anyone to be friendly to you or treat you like anything other than another annoying customer, not so much. The waitress threw the creamers across the table, never brought me my water, and audibly sighed and rolled her eyes when we asked for seperate bills. The food is greasy and cheap, just what a student needs on a sleepy Saturday morning after an exam... We will be back, but not because of the service!
