Lancer Restaurants

The decor was... well, it reminded me of a room after a bowling banquet in the 70's. Crossed with a trailer. And it didn't strike my husband or I as particularly clean.

The food was just barely okay. Not gross, not great. The service was so-so. Friendly, but not very interested in us at all. We won't be going back.

I was a bit disappointed with my last visit to the Lancer. I usually go there to cure a rough Sunday hangover and get the hungry man special. The portions seems skimped out on as before it was more. The food is good but if I am paying $6.25 for a breakfast I better get a larger portion

While waiting forever to be served, we noticed that plates of food were being stacked ontop of eachother (most unsanitarty kitchen practice due to large amounts of bacteria on the bottom of plates). The food was actually touching the bottom of the plates. The toast was stacked 3 or 4 plates high ontop of eachother. The food came out cold. No one wore any hair nets or even hats in the kitchen. This includes the servers.

With homefries like those, how can you not love it? There is nothing like a Lancer special when you are hung over from a night of partying... or just a casual Sunday morning breakfast.

This place is great. The people are nice and the food is delicious. But the coffee is amazing. The best coffee ever (better than timmy's).

The food would of tasted a lot better, if the service was there. The main problem is the waiters are rude, and do not check on you. I know it gets really busy, but even than it is not a reason to be rude to customers.
