Black Forest Steak House & Tavern

I've been coming to Black Forest for many years, since they were located next door, and I've still not had a better steak elsewhere, even at much higher prices. Note that if you go to Black Forest without trying the garlic bread with cheese, you've missed a key part of the menu.

I can't speak to other people's exeperiences, but whenever I go we are treated like family; the staff know my family and ask about them whenever I go. I have no hesitation in recommending them to people, or taking friends and relatives there.

Friendly staff. Family owned it looks like. Maybe a Restaurant Makeover candidate. Some fresher staff would help also. STEAK IS AWESOME!

The worse staff ever. The owner is the most miserable woman I ever met. They have not updaed the place since 1960 and it smells of smoke. The steak was good don't get me wrong but you can find a better steak with better service.

The server came to our table twice.
It was my wifes birthday, we had 1 drink each, the service was real bad, food was real good.
For the price I would prefer the old scott house.
Will not return.

When we walked in just around lunch time we asked for a coffee, we were told no! Order food than have a coffee or leave, so we left, for ever!!! Strange people there.
