Muio's Restaurant & Tavern

Been in business for about 50 years, very few menu changes and customers still line up for breakfast, lunch AND dinner. It is an institution in Sault Ste. Marie and is matched by none. This piece of history in the Soo was built by the Muio, Bertolo and DiRenzo families and now the DiRenzo family only has pushed it to heights never before dreamed possible. Everything is freshly prepared, expertly presented and the service is great. Good old home style cooking never tasted so good.

I have been eating at Muio's since I was a child, and I try to visit at least twice every time I visit, so that I don't have to choose between the chicken parm with a side of gnocci and the Chicken on a Bun Deluxe. The waitresses are great, friendly and on top of the service, which on a weekend evening can be hopping.

The restaurant is not pretty--although the neon sign out front is a gem--and the food is not fancy, but it is delicious and filling and priced outrageously low. My mother recently had Muio's cater an event at her home and fed fifteen people 'til they were bursting for under $60!

I recommend Muio's without hesitation. This is Sault homestyle cooking at its best.

My g/f and best friend and myself all went after visiting the lock tours. Great service, also great food and prices. for 3 of us, it was a total of $27.00. please come and support them.:D

The food is good, the prices are also good but the parking is scarce and the restaurant is not very attractive Next time I will do take out,

My family and I are visiting the area from France, and because of all the great reviews, I decided to call and see if I should make reservatioins, and other general questions. The person that answered the phone had poor communication skills and lacked the abilty to make the restaurant sound as if it were enticing to visit, or show that it had good service. I guess I will look else where.

This place is great! The broasted chicken fingers I ordered were amazing. Both myself and friend were comletely satisfied with the food and the service. I was actually surprised it was as good as it was because the prices are so cheap. The portions are very large as well so you are not only paying a bit because you only get a bit. Will definitely visit again and would recommend anytime.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place. The food quality is awesome, especially when you consider the dynamo prices! I have visited alot of places here in Sault Ste. Marie and Muio's is number #1 when you take into consideration service, price and taste. Go try it!!!

The pizza was delicious. I have been here a few times and each time thoroughly enjoyed the food each time. Service is pleasant and efficient.

I found the food incredibly tasty. The gnocchi were fabulous and not like I had tasted before. The portion was plentiful and cheap. My only concern was the lack of healthy options, as I wondered if the sauce tasted so good because it was heaping in oil.

This was the best broasted chicken I have ever tasted and the gnochi was fresh made and was as good as my grandma's. The side order was enough for 2 people.I would eat here at least once a week , unfortunately I live in Cleveland, Ohio. A great dining experience.
