Dock's Riverfront Grill

We went there and I saw the owner Paul's wife yelling and pointing at one of his employees! This poor girl started to cry after Renee left. I will NEVER go back there EVER again so long as I live. I told my family and they told others. I have never seen someone so hurtful to an employee in my 55 years I've lived in Sault Ste. Marie.

I also overheard other stories about Renee treating the employees like they are dirt compared to her. For someone who was a pretty hefty woman before you would think she would want to be nicer to people because she has known those hurt feelings herself of being made fun of or looked at and laughed at. If Renee didn't work there anymore or apologized to that whole staff because from the looks of it they sure deserve it I would probably go back to Dock's. I had been going there for years.

I just thought I would let Paul know - he deserves to know.

Server was good and friendly as I noticed other servers were the same. Food was really mediocre. Barely warm appetizer. Tasted like canned mushrooms. Very good SW style soup. 2 whitefish dinners. Dry and flavorless. Fish is easy. How do you ruin fish? Overcook, over batter. Really poor for the price.

Unfortunately the view is no where near enough to make up for the overpriced, freezer burned food that was served to us for over $20/plate

to make it worse the average service was nothing compared to the extremely arrogant managment/owner who didn't want to hear any feedback from his customers at all

With an attitude like that he'll find himself with no complanints at all...as he'll have no customers at all

There aren't enough tourists to go around to fill all his seats without the locals,,,so he should watch out

We dined here after a the train trip up to the canyon. We had the best cream of chicken soup ever. Great view of the river, locks and bridge back to the States. Thank you for a great experience.

The "trout" was excellent -- for catfish.
Waiter and crowd was uppity, i.e., way to high an opinion of themselves for a rather commonplace eatery whose only attraction is the waterfront.

Docks is my all time favourite place to eat when I visit the Soo. We always have great service and amazing food. The servers there are the kind of people that if they have a second, they'll stop and chat with you! It's great. My family and I always walk out with a smile on our faces :) If you visit the Soo and you dont go here... you're missing out BIG time.

The food was amazing and very tasty, the service was great. Server always had a smile and was on top of everything. Over all pleased with the whole night.

Yesterday was my birthday and i dont enjoy the bars so my girlfriends brought me to docks for what they called jazz night it was done up beautiful all light by candles. The band was excellent and easy to listen to but still enjoy conversation and you can order off the same menu they have in the resturant through we just had apps they were prepared and presented wonderful. The two waitresses we had were happy smiling and enjoying the music as much as we did. I would recommend this as a night out to any.. thank you for a wonderful birthday experience.

Visited alot of restaurants but no place has pleased me more than Dock's in Sault Ste. Marie. Scenery is just fantastic. We all had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food, good service and wonderful ambience.

the view,food, service and atmosphere is amazing.

this place is a must see it seems to be very up to date with remodeling and menu

will return often some of my other favourite rest are no longer my favourite
