Willy's Chinese Restaurant

We are regulars here. Food is great and the owner, William is a real gentleman. Szechuan green beans are the best around (we special order them "not too spicy" and the Singapore noodles are superb.

If you are looking for a delicious but no frills dining experience, try this one out!

i got the lunch special, chili chicken with no onions and gravy, along with chicken corn soup.

the chili chicken was not even spicy and i mean at all! it was terrible! i got literally 5 pieces of chicken and the rest was rice. completely bland. the chicken didnt taste that good either, i dont think it was taken from good parts of the chicken. the chili chicken to rice ratio was ridiculous!

the chicken corn soup was even more bland. barely had chicken in it and was watery and had no taste. very disappointed!
i've been to this place before, but this experience topped it off for me to never go back there!

this place gets indian chinese right. the chilly is hot and spicy yet full of flavour. the chilli chicken was dry and not over crisp like some chinese joints. though the environment is neat and clean. the downside is that when we went the 2nd time there were noisy customers who were just ruining the atmosphere. i havent been there since. I suggest that they play some background music so that the environement doesnt seem so stark!

All the dishes were very flavourful & tastey. The food was not greasy & was great! Best hakka food ever!

Fresh prepared, authentic food. Best I've eaten in a very long time. Comfortable booth, quiet atmosphere.

I enjoyed this place alot. The service was enjoyable, the food, fabulous and not too oily and the appearance of the restaurant was very neat, clean and cultured. I'm a regular so I also noticed that the place also looked very spacious because they replaced the carpet with tiles.

I go here regularly with a few ppl from work. I order from the lunch cheapo menu and I am not disapointed. I have worked in scarborough for 15 years, so I have a good understanding of cheap chinese food, and the service, taste and quality (and its fast) is all here. Not as authentic as a (real) chinese foodcourt experience, but its clean enough to bring anyone and order anything. I would highly reccommend.

The food, service, and everything else is absolutely the best I've seen at any Hakka restaurant I've been to.
The food is very fresh, not oily, and very well spiced.
