We have been dining here for over 10 years and have thoroughly enjoyed every meal. This is our standard "go to" place for birthdays, celebrations and entertaining business associates. The staff are exceptional (have been there as long as we remember) and are like family! The food is the best around. We have introduced "The Grill" to many friends who always enjoy the dining experience and always return.

I go to Richmond Grill at least once every 2 weeks, the food is outstanding and so is the service. You would be a fool to live in Richmond Hill and not try this place out.

Service was great as soon as we walked in. Greeted by name! Food was great again and Luanna's wine recommendation was fabulous - Cellar 8 by Asti. On a side note, I think we were out for dinner at the same time as "Never again" below. They had reserved a larger than necessary number of seats and than complained about everything including the people who didn't show up. I see why they didn't come. The most verbal woman at the half-empty table, maybe 18 seats, was so loud and obnoxious she bothered other diners. Our waiter actually gave us dessert on the house because of her being a distraction. We'll be back, hopefully she won't.

Will never go back. The most over-rated, over-priced restaurant I've ever had the misfortune to go to. The small $12 "piled" spinach salad was worth $6 and virtually tasteless; the $11 Mussels (if you could find them) was worth no more than $8. Manager indifferent to my complaint. Lighting was minimal; one needed a flashlight to see what they're eating. Waiter was amicable but didn't mention prices when rhyming off "specials" and desserts. I can't imagine anyone paying $22 for liver and onions but they did!! All main dishes were $20 +. This a nondescript eatery in downtown Richmond Hill that shares an entrance way with business next door. Upon entering the vestibule, we had to go through an old windowless wooden door. Very uninviting. I should have expected the worst when I couldn't find a website for this restaurant.
- Order: 2 appetizers: Baby Spinach salad with pear slices (missing), a few pine nuts & cheese. Mussels (if one could find them) in tomato sauce & onions.
- A pleasent dinner but no 10/10

It seems a bit odd to read perfect 10 scores for the Richmond Grill.
The serive was OK and the food was OK. There was nothing GREAT nor unique about the restuarant that warrented a perfect 10.
Like I said, the food was good and I had no complaints about it.
The decor however is VERY outdated, we're talking 90's look so I think it's time they invest the dollars on their expensive menu into a restuarant make-over.
In the end, Richmond Grill isn't a place where I'd come weekly or monthly, it's just too pricey for that. But try it if you're celerating a birthday and something, the food is good.

The appetizer for two was very good and I'd definitely recommend it. We all had something different and each of us was very pleased with our meal. The portions were large and way more than enough. I'm going back with other friends tonight ( 4 days later ).

One of THE best meals I've had in a long time! Food was excellent. Service was prompt and very attentive. Loved the quaint ambience of a "smaller" restaurant. We will definitely go back again soon.
The only drawback (very very minor) is the desserts. Nothing that really standouts. - Order: Shrimp & Scallops, Trout, Chicken, Liver, Tenderloin, Striploin, Seafood Pasta
