Gourmet Vegetarian Restaurant

The food and portion sizes are ok but I was very disappointed with the service. I found out that one dish was prepared wrong before it was served and the waitress made no offer of fixing it. I ended up having to pay for a dish that was half inedible! Very inhospitable and poor customer service all around.

I am not a vegetarian but when I eat here with my vege husband I never miss the meat! the fried chicken is sooo good. Every time I have come here which has been easily over 30 times, the food has been fresh and hot. The prices are the best around. The only drawback is the dismal washroom:(

Best veg restaurant I've been to in TO and surrounding area! Fast, efficient service. Very willing to accomodate substitutions and other changes to the order.

A late entry but didn't find it on the website before. The food was not bad but I was very upset when the waiter just put a pot of tea at the table without saying that it cost 4.00. We only found that out at the end with the bill. At another vegetarian restaurant they give it to you for free, so he should have told us at least that it costs. The prices were more expsensive than others so I wouldn't go back for those 2 reasons. Lotus Pond is much better. That is located on midland south of steeles on the right hand side.

A definite recommandation for all vegeterians and vegans. The Food is extremely tasty and presentable, it might just be able to trick yur non-vegeterian significant other to enjoy a vegeterian night out with you.

I have been vegan for 18 years and have been to all the Chinese vegetarian restaurants in the Toronto area. This one is by far the best veg restaurant and I have been there once per week since I found it a few years ago. Everything on the menu is good and the prices are very reasonable.
