Teeny Tiny Tea Room

We found the dining room and place settings to be very attractive and looked forward to our menu selections. However, while the salads were rated "satisfactory" the quiche portions were just barely warm. The diner ordering the baquette felt the serving was small, but this was a minor detail. The split pea soup was absolutely tasteless and even with the addition of liberal salt and pepper it could not be improved and one serving was left uneaten. We mentioned this to the waitress and were told that basically the kitchen prepared all their soups without seasonings, leaning towards vegetarian preferences. If this is the case, perhaps it might be a suggestion to mention this fact to the customer.

I have eaten here 4 times and love this place more and more. I visited with my 4 y.o. daughter today for "ladies lunch" and she was able to order a grilled cheese sandwich (not on the menu), which shows their flexibility and attention to their customers.

My lunch was amazing, and this was the first time I tried a chilled soup. I was a little scared, as I've never had a cold soup before, but it was delectable!

I love the shabby/chic decor, attention to detail everywhere. The service is always friendly and attentive.

My mother and I had a very nice lunch yesterday. The portions were very large. The food was tasty. The service was warm and hospitable. I would recommend it for any ladies luncheon, but be sure to make a reservation.

The chicken was tasteless. It tasted like it had been boiled or processed. The lettuce was limp.

Wow! The food is excellent, the service was great and the portions are HUGE! There is a good variety of food and I certainly didn't leave hungry. I think the lady who "felt like a rabbit eating all the lettuce" must be having a bad day...there is nothing wrong with the food there. You definitely have to have dessert when you are there...it's a must!

I will be back every time I go to the downtown area!!

the chicken wrap was a lot of lettuce and very cold. i felt like a rabbit eating only lettuce for lunch.

I have eaten here many times and I find the food delicious. The place is quiet and the service excellent. I would recommend this place to everyone.
