Spectacular soups, wonderful specials. I have visited numerous times and have never been disappointed. The service is friendly and efficient. It's often busy and therefore sometimes noisy, but that's more than offset by the food. The ricotta spinach pie is absolutely wonderful. Be sure to top it off with a cookie for dessert.

The Rosemary walnut burger was phenomenal absolutely delicious highly recommended. No one will be able to say vegetarian food is bland after eating here!

Finally a true vegetarian restaurant in Peterborough for us! The food is a fantastic blend of homemade soups, sandwich, quesadillas and some hot entrees. Wonderful eclectic decor with "found" 50's kitchen items gives a warm and inviting casual environment.

And yes, the "Rosemary Walnut" burger with caramelized onion compote is to die for! The vegan brownies are decadent too!

I love the planet, but wish they'd extend their hours to include dinner and then up the ante with hot dinner entrees. (labelling of menu items as either vegetarian or vegan would be a nice touch too)

Peterborough needs more "vegetarian only" restaurants. Thank goodness for the Planet to fill the niche! Keep up the good work!

If you haven't tried the rosemary walnut burger at the Planet, march your keister back there and order it!!! It is SO good, you won't even believe it. Also, Brie and Cranberry sandwich is pretty special.

Every Friday I check in with some colleagues to see if they want to go for lunch. Where do we most often go? The Planet. People often joke about how often I like going there, but they NEVER opt out. They will serve 1-8 people in under an hour no problem. Probably more, but I've never been there with more than 8 people.

I absolutely love the food at the Planet. The Old Cheddar and Onion Jam sandwich is a favorite, as are the Walnut Burger, Spinach Ricotta Pie and Burrito. It's good, solid, hearty and healthy vegetarian fare that will never disappoint.

If you can catch the day that the Mac & Cheese is the special, you're in for a real treat!

Great vegetarian joint - you don't miss the meat! Super relaxed atmosphere that even I don't get stressed out about, fun decor, tasty, generous, wholesome food and unexpected ingredient combinations that work out wonderfully. Make their own delightful (especially potato cheddar) bread! Not too expensive, happy-go-lucky staff, just all-around awesomeness.

Awesome macaroni & cheese - real cheese flavour & a touch of salsa on top. Yummy. Best butter tart ever afterwards. Busy but service fine.
