Service was prompt & Friendly - portions too large My mother in law ordered from the child's menu as she is not a big eater but the baked Potato was the largest spud I have ever seen. I ordered hamburg as I've tried the steak there and always send them back

When our server arrived I told her we had sent back steaks at this location twice and that we were very fussy. I ordered a salad with oil, vinegar and parmasan cheese when it arrived the oil & vinegar were on it so I was unable to adjust to my liking, when I tried to put pepper on it the lid fell off, they did provide me with a new salad and upon request i received the oil & vinegar on the side when trying to cut the Tomato I found I had no knife but I persevered When they brought our main course we found I had my salad fork and a steak knife that came with the steak but my wife had to ask for utensils Jason the manager came with 3 more onion rings as he said he noticed 1 of my first 3 were quite small as well a card for a free appetizer next time in (I should have left it for a tip as it may never get used) My wife ordered a balsamic chicken and asked for a seniors portion but the said only one piece of chicken ans was surprised she was charged full price. In all fairness I think Cara has slipped and Jason is trying his best to work with under trained staff and hes should get some Kudos

Quick to get a seat, immediate attention by waitress, who gave excellent menu advice, and maintained attention throughout my meal. (Her name was Holly) Superb and near immediate brocholli cheese soup, that recipe is a keeper! Lots of pasta, the portion was large, and served up in reasonable time, the marinara sauce very tasty and well throught out. Lots of diners present, the staff was really running, and its nice when you know that its "busy" and the Chef is maintaining the quality this high.

being a friday night at dinner time, we expected it to be busy, which it was. the hoastess sat us promptly, and our waitress, leela, or leah, was there immediatly after.
she was an increadibly sweet and friendly girl,and made us feel like extremely welcome.
our food seemed to take a while (most likely due to the amound of people at the resteraunt), but our waitress appologized, and assured us that it would be out shortly.
food was above average, and worth the wait.perhaps something that they specialze in (as apposed to the one pizza on the menue) would be a better choice.

Wow. This restaurant was really great. We walked in, and we were seated and had our drinks in front of us in 10 minutes, and 10 minutes later our food, hot and delicious, was in front of us. The waiter was very pleasant, and though you could see she was tired, she had a large smile on her face, which wasn't forced or anything. The food was hot, but not too hot. My guest had a sundae for dessert. And said it was the most delicious thing she had ever tried.

I frequently visit this restaurant. It is by far the best in the city! The staff is very polite, the food is usually very delicious, and the wait is never too long. My only complaints include: occasionally we get a waitress that forgets our reuqests, such as refills, and that every now and then portion sizes and food quality fail to meet expectations. However, prices are reasonable and all else is great! May I recommend the fajitas to everyone-they are absolutely fantastic! Don't change a thing. (P.S. Keep bringing limes with the drinks...that is a cute little touch I enjoy very much).

our meal were excellent, very hot, and served very quickly. The service was impeccable, the waiter friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is the price for the portion sizes.

We visited on New Years Eve 2006. We arrived at 9:15 p.m. and were told that there was a limited menu because it was New Years Eve. It suggests to me that a lot of the food options were prepared well in advance and awaiting reheating.

Upon being seated and one party ordering an alcoholic beverage we were told that if we wanted alcohol we could only have one drink, as last call had already been called (this was at 9:15 p.m.!) because the restaurant was closing at 10 p.m. due to it being New Years. New Years Eve -- potentially one of the BEST nights business for a restaurant/bar, and this establishment was closing.

We were told by our waiter that whatever we chose to order, food wise, we would have to eat quickly as they were closing in 45 minutes. After food arrived, the waiter made it quite evident that we should rush, as the staff wanted to leave. This was very annoying.

The food was acceptable, although the chicken was quite overdone/dry (in spite of the balsamic sauce) suggesting that it had been cooked some time ago and been sat awaiting reheating -- further evidenced by the fact that our meals arrived within mere minutes of our placing our order.

The atmosphere of this particular location is so sadly under developed. The potential to accomodate not only a more "family" oriented restaurant, but also a more "hip" and happening bar is tragically overlooked by management who choose to push yet ANOTHER football/hockey game on t.v.'s everywhere around the bar atmosphere with tragically outdated music playing, no doubt via a corporate controlled/programmed satellite feed, and staff who generally like to socialize with each other or their coworkers who are off shift and hanging around.

I could go on and on about the wasted potential at this location, but what is the point -- it is all corporate "cookie-cutter" out-of-the-box everything (from decor, to piped in music, to menu, to "the game" on t.v. and ....) Kelsey's would be well served to use this location as an experiment in local customization and catering to a potentially new clientele by ditching the sports on t.v. (there are 20 other bars where people can watch "the game" in Peterborough), retraining some of the staff/management, bringing in a DJ, offering drink special, Happy Hour, and taking other actions to separate the restaurant from the bar (which is easily done), particularly in light of the fact that this location is attached to a moderately sized (and frequently booked) hotel, and located only a few blocks from subdivisions with hundreds of homes and many people who would love a viable bar/pub/entertainment option without having to travel downtown.

Even though it seemed like a slow night, we had a smiling face upon our arrival. Our waitress was really funny and friendly. Everything came out in a very reasonable amount of time and our drinks were never empty. I also love the debit machine that comes right to the table. We will be back again for a late night dinner!!!!

Everything was wonderful. I loved the way that you guys had the nets for my baby car seat - fantastic service and food!
