A few days ago my friends from Toronto came to visit and the only restaurant that I would take them too in this town is Wellington's. I thought to myself, "thank god Parry Sound has Wellington's...an above average pub with great service and amazing food!" There is a reason people from this town recommend Wellington's to 'visitors'. My wife & I love to celebrate our anniversary every year at Wellington's! My friends were impressed with the food and service, HOWEVER, the ONLY issue I have is the depressing JAZZ Music. My friends and I thought that the Music was the only thing Lacking. If the music can be more upbeat, Wellington's would be unstoppable. All in all, Wellington's gets Aces.

Yesterday night I visited wellington's for a friends anniversary. Our group of friends visits Wellington's quite frequently, and we usually joke about the drag jazz and classical music playing. This night they were playing rock music and the atmosphere seemed to be much more upbeat and relaxed, which was a great thing for our group and other guests but maybe was a bit too relaxed for the waitresses still in uniform sitting at a table drinking and texting ( that doesn't look good). We all enjoyed our meals as usual but after visiting this restaurant so many times I've noticed that their special menu doesn't change... so they're not really specials are they? Overall our server and meals were great but maybe Wellington's is getting a little too familiar.
- Order: chicken supreme, shnitzel, steak and mushrooms, taco salad, ceasar salad, seafood salad, stir fry, brie, agnolotti

On a recent visit to the area, my wife and I were recommended to this restaurant. We liked it so much we ate there several times. The restaurant was full of historical pictures which the owner, who was the door greeter, explained to us. The food was excellent with great service and the prices were very reasonable. The portions were generous.
We liked the pecan chicken, a house favourite. the prime rib was fabulous and we tried several of their fresh fish dishes. I would recommend this place to anyone. - Order: pecan chicken, whitefish, prime rib, jerk, chicken penne

My partner and I were just passing through this town and were looking for a good place for dinner. A local pointed us in their direction, and I was very impressed! The food came out quickly, and was wonderful. The portions are generous.
Our service was top shelf, thanks again Ronda! - Order: Salmon and Pasta

I went to Wellington's for the first time and I was impressed. The service was great the girl was so professional and upbeat. I enjoyed her witty style and considerations to my family's needs. The food was excellent I really enjoyed the home cooked style of food. Fresh vegetables and the food was cooked just the way I like it. I was wondering if the music was lacking a little, it didn't really match the overall style of the resturant. I would go again and tell all my friends.

My co-worker and I took our other co-worker out for lunch for her birthday and her last day of work.
The service was absolutely HORRIBLE!! Our server was NOT polite or welcoming by any means and our drinks sat empty for near the entire meal!
We watched as the waitress attended to every other table in a timely and courteous fashion as we sat waiting and feeling very unwelcome.
Now, this is not our only time being to Wellington's. This is now my fourth consecutive time dining at this restaurant and each and every time, the service was remarkably HORRIBLE!!!
Although this restaurant may have their regulars who are dedicated, I would NOT recommend Wellington's to my worst enemy.

The ambiance was good overall, but unfortunatly the chef was having a bad night. My steak was ordered as medium rare, when it was served to me the exterior of the steak was burned/charred, baked potato and veggies were great. Ribs were good overall, but the cut was unusual. The service and management was fantastic. The steak meal was discounted 50%.

After an afternoon cruise on the Island Queen, we visited for our first time at Wellingtons. Fantastic and tasty, service was quick and very friendly. Our meals were delicious and different then the usual, well priced and served to us with a smile from a very pleasant server - thank you, Brenda! Highly recommend the Pecan Chicken for it's unique flavour and wonderfully fresh ingredients. The Banquet burger was more then "just a burger" - real cheddar and bacon with fresh mushrooms. The Cesar Salad is completely wonderful. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and historic - we will make this a regular treat whenever we can! Highly recommend to anyone traveling in the area - it's worth the trip just to dine here!

The food was cooked to order and was exceptional pub fare. The portions were generous and the prices were realistic for what you received. We were pleasantly surprised by the drink selection and pricing. We will be back to enjoy another fine meal (and especially an ice cold pint of beer after a hot summer day).
