Rusty Gull Restaurant

My Husband and I visited the Rusty Gull for our anniversary. My Husband had the Philly Steak Sandwich and I had the beer battered fish and chips. It was wonderful. The sandwich was huge and the fish was extremely good. Our server was a delightful girl, very attentive. We will absolutely reccomend this restaurant to all of our friends/family!

The service was wonderful. The food was excellent! But you just can't beat that view. I will absolutely be back and I hope anyone who reads this will be too!!!

Mediocre at best. We took a special drive up to Owen Sound from the city. We went here due to the other reviews saying that it was great. Servings were extremely small for the high price that we paid. Steak sandwich was tiny, (half a sandwich?) Soup accompanying it was served in a tiny baby bowl. Come on, splurge and give customers a regular- sized soup bowl at least! For a $12.00 sandwich, one should get a substantial portion. It really did seem like they were trying to cut costs by serving the minimum that they could get away with. My fresh fish tasted "fishy" which it should not, if it was really "fresh". My husband and I were still hungry after this meal. We don't mind paying higher prices if the food is worth it, but quality suffers here. Save your money and go to Mr. Submarine. Extremely disappointed in this place.

Carole got it right! The best view in Owen Sound was never enough in the past. The Food had to be on the mark, & now it is! Not to mention fun events & happenings that make it an Entertainment Destination as well!

The standout is the Sunday Brunch...WOW!

Located on the waterfront, by the marina, excellent view. The staff was very friendly and service speed nicely paced. Not too busy on this occasion but summer must be busier, Owen Sound is a busy tourist area.
