Yesterday's Restaurant & Parlour

Between waiting 40 minutes for a gross french onion soup, an hour and a quarter for COLD food, and a manager who was too afraid to apologise for the terrible service, our Yesterday's experience was terrible. As a result of their inappropriate delays (the restaurant was NOT busy), we missed our tour that was scheduled for 2 hours after we arrived at the restaurant.

As a customer service teacher, I felt the need to complain, and even this was not sufficient as the manager refused to give more than a 15% discount on two out of the three bills. The third bill didn't contain food that was served cold, and despite waiting just as long as the other meals, and despite also missing the tour, no discount was given.

If management from this restaurant were to contact me and offer a full refund, or to give us 5 free meals, it STILL would not be enough to ever get me to come back to the restaurant.

At least I have a GREAT case study of bad customer service for my students!!!

I was in the previous day about to order, however I was horrified by the manager or whom ever he may be, giving a server crap for her snotty service. Regaurdless if she wasn't polite or not, please take it in the back of the house. We as customers do not wish to hear the scolding of an employee, We too feel her embarrassment. I then left.

Today I decided to give them another chance (since I just started working in the area) Big mistake. The mangement is very grumpy and the food is lacking any excitement.
I am very disappointed with this establishment and its high and mighty so called manager.

Polite servers a tad on the slow side, but we were not in any rush and enjoy people watching through the windows. Large and roomy with a great family atmosphere. One of the best clubs I have ever eaten, with "real" turkey. If you are not in a hurry and do appreciate friendly service, I recommend it.

This experience was the worst I have ever had in a restaurant. The service was very slow, but the waitress was smiling and nice. However, the meal was absolutely terrible. I ordered sundried chicken pasta in rose sauce and received a plate of pasta with crushed tomatoes from a can. No spice, rose sauce, pepper, parmesan, chicken or sundried tomatoes. I complained to the manager and was told that it wouldn't be taken off the bill, because she felt I was being unreasonable. My husbands medium rare steak arrived well done and paper thin. He didn't eat his either, so both of us left and ordered pizza at the hotel later.I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody.

The meal itself was great and the service was decent as well. The part that really shocked me about the restaurant was overhearing the manager speaking to her staff. How is it possible a woman that vulgar and unproffesional is left in charge of an entire restaurant. I see, I am not the only one who has endured this.

The food was good for what it was, a sandwich and a burger, we didn't have high expectations, and the service, although slow and harried was smiley and friendly, what ruined my meal was the manager humiliating one of the waitresses in the middle of the restaurant, these things are totally unprofessional and inhuman. The only way I would visit again is if the aforementioned manager was no longer there.

I went to Yesterday's for a business lunch. I ordered a simple sandwich and drink to ensure I could get back to work within the hour.
As many have said before, the service was nonexistant. I walked out after waiting for a full hour, leaving change for my drink.
Pathetic. The place is full of business people on break, they should have a certain standard of service.
I refuse to be fired because a supposedly organised business can't put some bread together in an hour.

Our order was taken at 12:10 and, after waiting for 50 minutes, we still had not receive our meal. I've not been so unimpressed with a restaurant in a very long time. Make sure you have two hours to eat if you plan on having lunch here.

The food was fairly good, but the service was almost non-existant!

The food was nothing special. The thing which annoyed us the most and ruined our dining experience was the manager. She was berating a waitress in public. She began complaining in a very loud and demeaning manner about a family's child who was crying. The manager wanted to be loud enough to chase the family out rather then dealing with the customer professionally. This individual was also swearing everytime the couples' baby cried. We have never witnessed anything this poor in any restaurant.
