You don't go here for the service or the atmosphere, you go here for the Lakksa!! A very quick lunch makes this a good destination for your 1 hour lunch break, since you can order and eat within 1/2 an hour. Also a good stop before visiting the cinema across the street.

Great place, the most authentic malaysian food I've had in ottawa. The curry puffs are awesome and the Char Kway Teow tastes exactly like it does in penang!! perfect. Service is also enjoyable, highly recommend this place.
- Order: curry puff, char kway teow, laksa, satay
- Best SPICY Asian food in town.

One of the few places in Ottawa with good non-European/American food. A good addition to the city culinary scene. The food is Malaysian-Chinese, and with just the right tones to give it the touch of authenticity. Good place. Will visit again
- Order: Chilli Chicken, Singapore noodles, Lemon Chicken, Beer

Not a super fancy restaurant but the food and service is awesome. I love the lemon chicken and singapore fried rice. We ALWAYS order desert here - the deep fried bananas. I usually just stick to ordering the same things so I can't really comment on the rest of the menu. Tried a few other things once and it was ok. Waiters work very hard here. Great restaurant!

I love the food and have been following this restaurant since it moved. I love the lemon chicken and will be going again soon so I can have it. I also let the chef know the veggies I like best so they are tailored to my likes.

Fantastic Malaysian Chinese food and good prices. Laksa (more Singapore style than Penang) is the standard at lunch, but the curries are the best I've had in this city. Many other great dishes on the menu and I plan to try them all eventually (hard to get off the curry once you've tried it - it's quite addictive!) Quite authentic cuisine, owner is a direct import from Penang (a city known for its food). Very casual atmosphere, service can be a tad intermittent when looking for that second pint, but is otherwise great. Very friendly, too. Top marks in my book.

The service is really good, and the food is the closest thing to malaysian I have tried in this city. The owner also comes out to chat with you which is nice. :-)
- Order: They have Laksah which is like vermicelli noodles with mixed vegetable. Their chicken marinade is really nice, and they have a cool "live fire" skewer

Very good Malaysian food for the price. Atmosphere is very casual (not for a romantic evening), but if good food is what you are after, highly recommeneded. It used to be near Woodroffe on Carling. Consistenly good and a wide selection.
- Order: Laksa, Curried Beef, Curry Puffs, Sinha beer
