Very nice Korean restaurant, though I wouldn't say the best one. I would expect their prices to be a bit lower but that wasn't the case.
The traditional Korean food was very tasty but I do not recommend their Japanese fusion meals, such as the sushi and sashimi since it is over priced compared to other Japanese restaurants.
The service was quick and the waitresses/waitors are friendly.

Lately it seems the norm to leave a restaurant with a bill of 100 to 200 dollars (for 2), and have a ho-hum experience. Joy was a pleasurable experience. The food was very nice, each course delivering a little more flavour than I've come to expect from asian/fusion. The dinner for two was a good amount of food. My only complaint, and this is common in most Asian restaurants, is the staff is oblivious to your speed of consumption, with the next course coming out with no break and even before you've finished the last course...almost like they are hurring you along. The servers need to pay more attention and bring your courses out appropriately.

Lunch is not cheap even it is Lunch specials (Bento box). But I guess this is more or less the same price for Japanese food in downtown area. Vegetarian menu is limited. Taste is okay. Nothing fantastic to talk about. Be warned that they charge you hot tea for $1.95 per person.

Food was wonderful. Simply the best!
I have never had such a good food before.
Also it was good exprience to taste combination of Japanese and Korean foods at the same time.Atmosphere was OK. The building is little old but did not bother me that much.
Staffs were very nice and kind. Especially owner was so good. He was enjoying serving people.
For sure, Joy will be my joyful favorite restaurant.
- Order: Appetizer: Shrimp Tempura and Pazeon (korean pancake) Main: Galbi ((Korean beef rib BBQ), Dolsot Bibimbab (mixed rice, vegetables, beef with hot sauce), Sushi combos Drink: Japanese Sake, Korean Beer
