I came here last year on my visit to Ottawa, and then I couldn't get it out of my mind. So instead of testing out other vegan places on my return visit, I came back.
This time there was no crazy crowd, which made the experience more laid back and comfortable. I love the quaint little place with it's peaceful blue walls and spiritual teachings. Some colleague said that the place sends its profits for some nutty religious teachings...but I have some doubts. Even if they are, they aren't doing it in a blatant in-your-face manner. So that being said, I have no qualms...besides, this is about the restaurant.
Their green salad was a standard, but with a tasty dressing. I had to have their painted potato again. I think this time the there was less texture, most of it was rather mushy, but the flavours were still there. The curried chickpeas were great, and normally I don't like curries without dairy. The avocatofu made my life. Creamy and tasty. It was a nice contrast to the sweetness of the sweet potato.
I tried their vegan health cookie this time. It was a bit dry, but I wonder if all vegan baked good are like this due to lack of butter and milk. It was still tasty and kept me full when I snacked on it later.
The staff are extremely friendly people. I had great conversations with them and dealt with my five million questions about the food. Given how mad their lunchtime hours get, I'm really impressed by their positive energy. Really makes this place a great place to be. And they just told me they actually have a place in Toronto...score.

My wife and I love this place. We`ve being going there for years. The food is healthy, well-priced and delicious, the staff is very nice. Sometimes it can be a bit crowded, but I guess that's normal with a a little gem like this one.

I ♥ the Old Cheddar Sauce on mashed Yam with Broccoli!
So yummy! Servings are huge so take leftovers home for the next day.
Soups are great and ready to go. Service is a little slow but the atmosphere is so trippy and relaxing that it's nice to hang out. I like to call ahead and get takeout.

Always being one to try new things and loving the idea of a healthy vegetarian option, my boyfriend and I came here for dinner before a play downtown. We ordered the spinach pie for an appetizer and although it was not awful it was not great either. The spinach was surprisingly sweet and overpowering. I had the mango-lime juice with my meal which was the best part of it. When the painted potatoes arrived I was a bit caught off guard with the gobs of mushy toppings on top. I could barely find the potato under it all! The pesto and sour cream was alright but it did make me gag a bit. The avacatofu was what I was really looking forward to- being such a fan of avacado! I had to scrape more than 2/3 of the topping off the potato because it was like I ordered avacatofu with a side of potato! It was awful and I could only have a few bites. My boyfriend ordered the broccoli and cheese painted potato and he enjoyed the first few bites before it started tasting like a glorified Kraft Dinner! The staff was friendly however and the atmosphere was quaint but unless you want to try a pile of goop on top of a much smaller potato then I would stay away!

This place was amazing!!! The best vegetarian food I had in Ottawa, including The Table and The Green Door. Food was tasty and well prepared, the portion generous and the price was surprisingly low.
- Order: I ordered a sweet potatoe with half vegetarian chili and half Indian Dhal, my friend had half Dhal and half curried chickpeas. We also had some cookies for desert (0.50$ each) which were delicious.

What a refreshing restaurant! We went to Winterlude in Ottawa and were looking for a purely vegetarian restaurant so that we would actually be able to choose anything off of the menu instead of going to a regular restaurant and having your choice of "will I have the veggie stirfry or the veggie stirfry". It is such a quaint little restaurant in look, but the food and staff will get rid of any doubt that this is the best vegetarian gourmet food you'll eat! The portions were so large and at a crazy low price we couldn't believe. We left so full...there was no room for dessert! We actually had to go back to our hotel to lay down after dinner. I wanted to try every topping on their "painted potato menu"...I can't rave enough about the food's quality and taste. When we mentioned that we were from Kingston and were frustrated by our choice of vegetarian dining at home...the staff told us we were getting a restaurant called "Heart Garden" that will be run by a lady named Kim (that I believe has something to do with this Ottawa restaurant). It will be opening at the end of April here in Kingston and we are so excited. If the food is half as good as it was at Perfection Satisfaction we will be regulars! For the 2 of us including a $5 tip our bill only came to $32! Beverage, appetizer and main course for 2 people...Amazing!!!
- Order: My husband had: Mango lime juice, Samosa with mango chutney, Painted potatoes (baked potato with brocolli cheddar sauce), Greek Salad. I had: Mango lime juice, Spinach pie, Rainbow salad (had raisins, marinated tofu, sunflower seeds, shredded carrot and red cabbagge on a bed of greens with herb tahini dressing), Painted potatoes (baked sweet potato with avacado and silken tofu topping).

It was a last minute decision to order from them and the only item to pick up at short notice that day was the soup of the day- lentil soup. The lady in charge was very helpful in helping me decide on what I could order based on my time constraints, budget and my clientele
At the appointed time, my order was ready.
The thick lentil soup was such a favourite at the luncheon that I wished I had bought more! Though I added some water to get more servings, it still wasn't enough. Healthy and delicious soup that both old and young enjoyed!
PS. If you're reading this and you were the potluck, now you know the secret- I din't make the soup! Perfection Satisfaction Promise is your source for excellent soups. - Order: Ordered lentil soup to serve at a potluck luncheon. It was about 16 servings

Small and cozy, and amazingly never too packed. The menu is mostly indian inspired, though there are veggie burgers and pizzas too. All at least vegetarian, usually vegan, all very healthy (lots of veggies, whole grains..). I've tried most of the vegan dishes, and they're all amazing. My non vegan friends were impressed with the vegetarian dishes too. Very good prices. Very friendly staff. A great place for vegans and non vegans as well.
