Review: Having lived in Korea, this is the first restaurant that actually reminds me of being in a good local Gokseong restaurant. The meat is of excellent quality, and there is a wonderful variety of staple dishes. The Kimchee Chiggae is fantastic and they are not stingy with the side dishes. The only thing lacking was Korean beer! Overall an excellent experience and worth the slightly higher price. Machita!

Review: Of the korean places I've tried in Ottawa (only 1 other as there are very few) this one is probably the best one. They bring a whole lot of 'stuff' when you order a meal. Most of it I'm not really sure what it is but it comes free with the meal so no complaints. The kimchi here is ok I've had better but the kimchi soup is very tasty and spicy. The table cooking is a bit more pricey but I thought it was fun especially when on a date with my gf. Korean food is not too popular in ottawa but for a nice experience I'd give this place a try.

Review: First the boss looks so grumpy and he asked us how long we were going to take to eat. I find that extremely rude i couldnt belive he said that. It was our first time there and we will not be coming back. Service was good, food was good, but the boss killed it. Will NOT visit again

Review: We had a bizarre visit. Without going into too much detail, although the service was very nice, I don't think we'll be going back (despite our love of Korean food). To make a long story short, we each ordered a multi-course combo, except we only received the first 3 (out of 6 or 7)dishes and still got charged the full price. After speaking with a very understanding waiter, who explained that there had been a mix-up in the kitchen, we managed to get them to cut our bill down. But I still left without even tasting any BBQ, which was disappointing.

Review: Bad first impression when we walked into the restaurant and staff did not look friendly, children noisy at next table, server not very knowledgeable about menu items.
BUT... wonderful food. Both dishes were spectacular, korean pancakes and kimchi were the best that I have ever had. Tasty and satisfying for under $25 before taxes for two people (just two main dishes). - Order: Husband had Bibimbap. I had a kimchi stew (kimchi in a wonderful broth, rice cakes, tofu and pork) served in a hot pot.

Review: Fun atmosphere! Not the kind of place you go to just eat. Make an evening out of it! Strange to pay to make your own food, but it's fun and different!
Suggestion- bring another shirt for afterwards if not going straight home. You don't realize it until you've been out of there for a while (or if you're wearing white or glasses) you get oils etc. on your clothes and don't smell so great haha.
- Order: So many things ordered in our party!! The little pancake things are fantastic! I loved the marinades used for the beef, pork and chicken, didn't touch the seafood tho- personal preference, I just don't like seafood.

Review: Even though it's BBQ buffet, the boss is standing there to watch you. The expression on his face is not happy when he looked at your food on plates. When our BBQ stand was dirt we requested to change, the boss refused without reason. The total amount for the bill was $79.75 and we paid $80. The boss came to us and told us 25 cents is not tip. Then we told him his service deserved 0 dollar and we paid just the exact amount. We told him we would never come back and we did.
- Order: brunch buffet
