My family and I went out for our every first xmas dinner and let me tell you it will be our last. We are in the middle moving so going out was the best thing to do for us. My husband and I have eaten at Fridays before when the food and service were top notch. Today was totally different, we had heard things about the restaurent that were not good, but we didn't think it was this bad. The food was bad I don't know whos in the kitchen but I think he needs to go back to school. The portions were small and the price was to high for bad food. The place was not overly buzy for xmas but I still had to wait over 45 mins to get the kids meal. The server never came around to check on us to see how things were going and if we needing anything. At the end of the meal we ordered two cups of coffee and got one and was never asked if I wanted a second cup. It was bad from the start to the finish, this will teach me to go out on xmas, instead of staying home and cooking a great meal.

To be Honest, they changed the servers and bar tender much to my dismay. The last ones were so much more happier and fun, they made everyone feel special. The new ones are plain boring! It's too bad really. The food was good except they could add a bit more veggies and potato to the plate.
I would also like to add that Noel is the piano player and he is just amazing like usual.

- Order: We ordered the New Year's Eve dinner. My partner had the beef I had the chicken. Everything was lukewarm at best, beef tasted off and the chicken breast was so tiny it looked more like an afterthought. The roasted potatoes were cubed potatoes, not flavourful, and burnt on the bottom. Service was ok but they kept forgetting about everyone's drinks. I've been a long time patron and have gone there for New Year's Eve before and had amazing meals. This was a disgrace. Everyone around us made comments on the cheapness of the food and lack of the veggies too.

This is the place I proposed marriage. Beautiful and elegant, fantastic food, the roast beef melts in your mouth, fantastic servers with great sense of humor. We go on every event night at NAC and for every special occasion. Well worth the drive from Renfrew.

This Restaurant is amazing. The service is Impeccable. The food is Superbe and the ambiance is amazing. It's a quiet romantic spot full of class and charm. The decor whisks you back to the time of Sir John. A MacDonald and Sir Dr. Grant (who incidentally used to live in the very building). The busboy Andrew was exteremly pleasant and funny and our waiter Sylvain was extremly knowledgable about the entire menu and the wine list. We are definately going back. Time after time, after time, after time......

Friday's is a great restaurant. It's an old spooky house and i think i heard the ghost. The pianist upstairs truly knows how to tickle the ivory. The staff is friendly and they breed their bus girls cute at Fridays. Keep up the good work!
- Order: I ordered the incredibly sumptuous "Danger Cut". It was delicious and hit the spot. The mashed taters were creamier than heaven and like a true gentleman I didn't touch the vegetables. Friday's is the reason i'm no longer a vegetarian
