Denny's Restaurant

We went to dennys for a change. There was this re**** server who kept asking us all kinds of personal questions i wasnt sure if the weirdo was trying to get a bigger tip but if you ever have a server named conrad watch out... Inappropriate coments we never tiped and we will not go back....

I used to go to Denny's more regularly a few years back, but last night I hadn't been in over a year and it was very ordinary.

I know it was a Monday, but still, the place was empty around dinner time. Service was okay, but being in an empty restaurant is weird.

I also had never realized how bland their menu and food is. Everything is either fried or very greasy. I settled on a bacon cheddar burger which was ok. Bland, no flavors sticking out at all.

At least it's not super expensive like other places. I was out of there for only $13 for the burger and water.

We are two seniors who had breakfast at Denny's. It cost us 21.90 for 2 poached eggs on toast with two slices of tomato and the other had bacon and eggs only. We were charged $4.50 for coffee. We find that $21.90 was way too much for such a breakfast.

I enjoyed my visit to denny's and will be more than happy to visit again as a matter of fact I plan to visit with my wife on a valentine's day

I have not been to a Denny's in a long time and certainly will never go again. We went to celebrate my son's birthday - that is where he wanted to go - we waited over 50 mins at our table and our supper still wasn't served. Our drink order took 20 mins to arrive and they forgot one. My little grand daughter was with us and she was being so good - little did we know that she was not feeling well. She was sick to her stomach and the servers just stood there - no one offered napkins, help, etc.

There was only one server in our section and he was horrible. We had to leave and take the baby home - we had them pack up our food - well I sent my husband and daughter-in-law and grand daughter ahead and I was another 20 mins even though I was assured that when they left our order was ready - it just had to be packed up. When we got home with the food many of the orders were wrong and my son's birthday supper was spoiled.
Sorry but I will never go to this restaurant again. There is no excuse for this - they should have had more staff on and more cooks - it was after all a Sat night - which I assume is usually busy. They did give me a 20% discount, however, I feel even that wasn't enough and my order was over $80!!!!!

Conrad was our server. He is fantastic. This gentleman is one of the kindest and best servers that I have ever met. Denny's is Denny's... not the healthiest but great if you want to binge and enjoy some great tasting, greasier food. All the servers have been fantastic when we have visited and it is a fabulous place to go (South Keys) for relentless late night hunger pangs or a great way to wind down your Fri/Sat night. I will always go back!

Service was fine. Was disappointed in the food. Quality & portions have diminished from previous years. Grand Slam was not even filling.

The waitress brought my mom cajun buffallo chicken strips which were way too spicy for her to eat, and not what she ordered. When asked if the order could be fixed, the waitress proceeded to inform my mother that she could have an order of wings, however she would have to pay for them as well as the uneaten buffallo strips because they were already made. My english muffin was blackened to the point that when the waitress came by she offered to get me an eddible one without my asking; to my relief she did not charge me extra for the charred one on my plate.
