I've been a number of times as I like the patio and location and I keep hoping that each bad meal was just an off day. The food is getting worse, in my opinion, the pizza I ordered last time had very odd 'squishy' chicken that seemed artificial. odd. The menu seems too big for the place to handle and they no longer have interesting beers. They should have kept the original smaller menu from a few years ago. I'd rather pay more for a better meal. Wings are ok.

We just ordered take out from the this restaurant and it was the worst take out I have ever had!!! I ordered the fish and chips for $11.99 and the chips were still partially frozen. The fish was disgusting. The batter was soggy and the fish was obviously freezer burned and possibly a little off. The food was totally inedible and I had to throw it out. Totally unacceptable for the price!! My husband's sandwich was only marginally better. DO NOT order take out from this restaurant ever! Not sure what the food in is like but I don't plan to find out!

The brunch could not have been worse.....Expecting a delicious Sunday brunch we were treated instead to waiting an hour for a very expensive, very crummy meal. The service was smug (I can only imagine more so after he got $1 in tips from our table). Everything about this experience sucked.

We thought this was well located before a concert but would never return. Was probably the worst meal I have had out in a long time. We tried two new additions to the menu. The Reuben lacked sauerkraut, had a very obvious cheese slice, hardly melted and two skimpy pieces of smoked meat. The fries were frozen. I had the chicken dinner. M&M have better meat. Vegetables were unimaginative and over cooked. We had no pepper on the table and couldn't catch anyone going by to get some. The dinner was cold to boot. While a nice atmosphere and close to Lansdowne, not worth the almost $50 it cost us!

I love this place, I really must recommend the veggie wrap, really fresh, really crunchy and delicious, lots of feta cheese. Really courteous service, very attentive to each customer although very busy. I have an alterior motive for posting this review - I was sitting at a round table by the entrance to the inside patio - Friday Feb. 6 - my waitress was really beautiful and I wish that I had told her. Dark hair, shoulder length, beautiful smile, dark eyes, average height. Anyhow, if you somehow read this, email me thenoogian at gmail dotcom!

I attended your bar and grill last night with a group of friends and really appreciated the service that was given to us by a waiter named Adam...I did not appreciate the fact that he was the only server in the pub and not even the manager would give this gentleman a helping hand when it was really busy. I did appreciate the fact that Adam did wait on us; as well as a birthday party, a hockey team party, and yet still had excellent service even though he did not receive any help from any of the management. I believe that the management skills were quit inadequate due to the the fact that there were no other servers scheduled to help this poor gentleman out when the management was odviously aware that this pub would be busy on this particular evening. My overall review is that the mangement skills need much improvement and that this particular server "Adam" should receive a gold star for excellent work when management wouldn't even lift a finger to help him...GOOD JOB ADAM

Well actually I want to thank my good friend Davyd for reccomending me to this place. He told me it was a great place and he wasnt wrong. The food was amazing in taste. The Price was reasonable and the service was prompt. I am a huge fan of hockey and you can bet I will be back to this place whenever I can. Thanks Davyd

I cannot believe that this was not posted by the owners or managers of the Arrow and Loon. This experience contrasts so starkly with anything that has ever happened at the Arrow and Loon that I can only conclude that Davyd confused this restaurant...

The steak tasted like charred gas, it was gristly and a bit overcooked. The vegetables were huge chunks of uncooked eggplant and zucchini. My fork was dirty.

My good friend at the Ottawa 67s told me about this place to drop by before the game. Well he told me it was busy because it is great, never knew how busy it could be. Amazingly the service was awesome for how many people were there. Had to order my buddies burger (named after him) Spicy Balloch. I can tell you the best $30 I have ever spent at a restaurant in one night. Be back for sure. The waiter Tom was excellent

Sadly, I have to come here more often than I like as it is a convenient meeting place for friends.
Where to start....
The "fruit" with the breakfast is a super-thin slice of melon and a piece of orange so small, I wouldn't even use it to garnish a drink. The bacon was only half cooked. The hot chocolate was lukewarm, the coffee was watered down and disgusting. The grilled potatoes were soggy and limp. The server was very friendly, but that was the only redeaming feature. - Order: Loon's 3.99 breakfast special
