  • Love going to Sinatra's for a real huge, tasty sandwich. The food is always in huge amounts, the sauce is incredible and when it all melts together, the veal or the chicken sandwiches match no other for taste and quality.

Once you go to Sinatra's once, you'll be visiting again and again.

  • I eat at Sinatra's many times throughout the course of a month. The sandwiches are huge and personally the perfect size for what I want. It is always good, always the same. The staff is always friendly. The sauce is excellent on the sandwiches, when it melts the cheese on the sandwich....heaven.

  • My wife suggested we try Sinatra's on the suggestion of her co-worker. First disappointment was paying a .50 cent charge to use debit. Our food took 10 minutes to be made and the business seemed to be dis-organized for a Saturday afternoon. The sausage was reheated and had little flavour. The veal was large but not anything special. The sauce is little more than stewed tomatoes which was badly in need of some spices to give it a true Italian taste. I don't think the owner's of this establishment are providing a truly Italian experience and we will not return.

  • Wanted to try this place for a while and we have mixed impressions on it. First: the Veal sandwich with eggplant and cheese, tasty and a good size however the sauce was a little bland. The spicy olives as a side was a nice touch. Second: Two sandwiches, one small side of olives and two drinks $25 with tax, a little pricey for a quick lunch for two. Third: This is the issue I have: with an open kitchen concept , I could not believe the cook (a young lady) and counter-person (another young lady) both were wearing TANK-TOPS (no sleeves). If this was an older hairy man wearing a tank-top, no-one would eat there. Totally unsanitary and inappropriate. Someone please cover the pits!

  • We have been to Sinatra's twice, and we find their sandwiches very filling (difficult for me to finish), and tasty. It would be nice if one topping was free (although the hot peppers are), and the veal is very thin, but these are minor complaints. I don't know if they are still doing this, but we were charged on our first visit for using debit. Overall, we really enjoy Sinatra's and would recommend it to others.

  • This restaurant is my favourite place to go get a sandwich that will last me until the next day! I love getting a chicken sandwich to eat half now and and save the rest for later! It is such a HUGE sandwich.. for 10 dollars?? Really?? Its amazing. I recommend EVERYONE go in an just try it! Do not let the immature and arrogant individuals who make their opinion known in a very unconstructive fashion dictate your own opinion. You have your OWN mind and OWN taste buds! Go on in and meet the staff and have a hot wonderful sandwich!

a comment asking about the supposed 80 yr old women working there? i dont think so - i hardly know the owners however i have been here at leadt 3 times a month since it opened and have been treated well fromt he first time to my last!

i love the sauce and i love the cheese i don't mind paying extra for real food.

the staff are all exceptional - they all act as if they r in a family and i appreciate that.

there is a girl who works there who wears glasses who seriously makes one of the best sandwiches there.. shes great! next time i go i will ask her name.

  • This is a great restaurant, an amazing value for the amount of food you get and the food actually tastes like something impressive (unlike other sandwich places) The staff is friendly, considerate and you can really tell that they are a family run business of totally un-related people. The atmosphere is always cheery and friendly when you enter and the smell of the kitchen is to die for! As a vegetarian who has a difficult time finding things to eat around durham i have been completely satisfied with the eggplant parmesean that sinatras offers. It is cooked to perfection every time and it is nice to have a restaurant finally take notice of the vegetarian community and product an amazing sandwhich instead of just makeing a sandwhich without the meat.. this is one for the record books! I have and will keep returning to Sinatras so long as i live in oshawa! i can't wait for more franchises to open! GREAT JOB!

also for those complaining about prices - get a life!! go to mcdonalds if you want somethign cheap and discusting - the fact that this is real food that is made to order and tastes like it is supposed to warrents paying far more than 10 dollars! I don't know where you are thinking of where you receive amazing service, friendly conversation and above all - great filling and real food for less than 10... get over youself and open your wallet to the amazingness going on at this restaurant!

i have brought my significant other to this place of business, he is the head chef at a fine dining restaurant that is upscale. he loves this place.

  • i have been a customer of sinatra's for two years, my mother and i started going there on our way to visit her aunt in the hospital just down the road. going to sinatra's is one of the greatest treats for our family. the employees are always friendly and ready to take your order. one time we were there at a very busy time and everyone was still smiling and able to get our order ready in ten minutes! after going to sinatra's many times we recomended it to our neighbours, when they went in the owner was there sporting a black head band, "how delightful and refreshing" they explained.

furthermore, i live in whitby, and i have even WALKED all the way to sinatra's just to have a delicious sandwhich! i invite all my friends to visit and the ones that do, always return again and again!

as for the atmosphere, well i have got to say, having been to italy three times... stepping into sinatra's is like stepping right back into all those lovely little cafes i experienced in italy! from the beautifully painted walls and menu, to the great selection of Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin music i have heard (just to name a few), even the aroma of fresh espresso and tomato sauce all add to the amazing atmosphere sinatra's creates.

okay, enough about the fluffy stuff, lets get to the good stuff, the food! their sandwhiches are HUGE, not only is the sandwhich huge, so is the flavour! right out of a quaint little house in italy, amazing tomato sauce paired perfectly with any one of their delicious sandwhiches. if you are looking for something a little different, try the eggplant parmisiano with ALL the toppings! every time i have gone in there the food has been great, always cooked just right and always with tons of flavour. if anybody thinks otherwise, i would suggest seeing a doctor about their taste buds.

in conclusion, i do not mind paying $10 a sandwhich, when you think about it you are getting an entire meal, AND if you walked into a KFC or even pizza hut, you will pay twice as much for lesser quality and quantity food! i bet any money there is more sauce on one sinatra's sandwhich than on an entire pizza!

  • Order: eggplant, mushrooms, onions, sweet peppers, hot peppers.
