Momma's Family Restaurant

I've been going to Momma's since I was really little! We would go there every day almost. I still love to go there whenever I can. My favourite is an Appetizer Ceaser Salad, and a Cheeseburger with fries, and a Coke to drink for a meal.

Momma's would have to have the most delicious, fresh ceaser salad in the world! I would have to say that the Ceaser Salad is one of my favourite dishes.
The cheeseburger always has very tender, juicy BBQ beef, with yummy melted cheese on top. The fries are always good to eat on the side. Their quite big, so if your pocket is a little light, just get some fries or a poutine, because its always delicious and filling. Plus, the gravy on the poutines is soo good!!
For my drink, the soda is always in a tall glass with plenty of not too big, not too small chunks of fresh water cold ice cubes to freeze up the beverage.

Their food there is soo delicious, and you havn't lived a fulfilled life without going there! The servers are always polite, and the owners are always there to give you a big welcoming smile. The prices really aren't bad at all either. Please go there, you won't regret it a bit!

I eat at Mommas all the time! I have been since I was small. I love the food there and everytime I go there the service and food is great. Also.. Mario and Gus.. (Owners?) are sooo nice and are always politely greeting everyone when you come in. They seem to really care how the food was, and if my experience there was comfortable. I find sometimes the waitresses could be a little more on thier feet but hey, everyone gets a little crazy busy sometimes. I Absolutely recommend Mommas to anyone! I also don't know why people are complaining about the price, I find them great there!

Very affordable and tasteful!

I was pretty schocked at the prices, I should have just went to McDonalds for a chicken burger. Also, the bun they gave me for the burger was 2x tooo big for the piece of chicken I got. By the time I was done with it, it looked like I had a whole other meal on my plate full of scraps of bun. Also, we were served the breakfast and "waiting" on the toast. They must have forgot about it?!

I eat at Momma's all the time and I've always had great service and great food. I usually just order their Ontario Roast Turkey meal because it's phenomenal and tastes just like a Thanksgiving dinner at home. The food is excellent and I like to support them because they don't get the recognition they deserve in the community. I know the owners pretty well, as well as one of the cooks and I know that they always strive for excellence. Someone said something about their food not being fresh? They buy a lot of their meat and some other stuff on a daily basis so that it will be fresh.

I eat at mommas all the time, the service and food is great. One of the gems of North Oshawa.

We used to go to momma's all the time, try to help the little guy, right? But recently the prices have grown way to expensive, the same issue with Diamond's downtown. Last time we were in the friend we'd dragged along asked for a cheese omelette and they tossed a pile of scrambled eggs with an unmelted piece of process cheese on top of it. We've never been back since.

The food was impecable. i actually tipped the kitchen. i suggest you all do the same so the stuck up, pre-modonna waitresses dont get all the cash all the time. no hard feelings tho. OH by the way Mommas is a Greek restaurant not Italian.

My daughter and I eat here once every 2 weeks or so and we are ALWAYS pleased with the food quality, large portions and the excellent service ...the 2 sons who run the place always make you feel like you are part of the Momma's restaurant family, always bantering with everyone at the till ... so not only is the food superb but you leave there with a smile as well ... I hope it exists as long as I do !!!!!

HOME COOKING AT IT'S BEST. Better than your high priced chain restaurant. Service friendly. Atmosphere warm and inviting.

Where is momma??? certainly not in the kitchen
or perhaps she is buying some premade food at A&P to serve. AS THE SLOGAN ABOVE THE DOOR SHOULD SAY: Not always fresh and CERTAINLY not always good!!!
It's a shame that some businesses handed to family get worse with time, momma you should no better!!!!
