May Flower Chinese Foods

:)We have order from this restaurant every christmas eve for the past few years, we order the same thing every time. We always have something missing from our order. This time we had it delivered as when ever we go to pick it up in the past even if we call it in a week a head of time we have to wait at least an hour. This time when we received it we had quite a few things missing, we did not bother to call as we have young children that where over and did not want to have anyone wait any longer to have to eat. There was a hair in our order of Lo Mein, and we got food poisoning from the food. Food was not as good as it has been in past years. When calling the manager did not want to believe me, I told him that we would not be ordering anything from them again, and that if we did not get our money back I would report the restaurant. He did end up apologizing and gave us the full amount of our bill back $105.03.

My family has been ordering from this restaurant for many years but yesterday will be the last time. When food arrived two items were missing (which hapens almost every time we order), I called and told them what was missing (I was not rude or mad at all), they told me they would bring it next time. I said that I had a lot of people for dinner as it was Mothers day and that I needed it then. The guy got off the phone and yelled to the people in the background "she wants it today, I should just tell her to eat sh!t. I was sooo mad what he came back on the phone I told him I heard what he said and that I couldn't believe after spending $80 on food and them making the mistake he would say that and he said "ya". He didn't care at all that I heard. When I spoke to manager he said "Oh bad service eh." and that was it. No apologies or anything. I was so mad and my mom was so mad, so they basically ruined our Mothers Day dinner. I will NEVER order from them again!

food was excellent, not the best i've had by any means but sweet mercy, it was here within 15 minutes of placing the order.

i'll definitely be trying out some other dishes.

Don't know where the sit down people were but they were not at mayflower...it's a takeout and delivery only...no tables

Moved to Oshawa 4 years ago and could not find a good take out Chinese...until we come across Mayflower....best food around!!!!!!!!!

Are these people nuts? They must have the wrong place. This is NOT a restaurant, it's pick up or delivery only.
They have the BEST Chinese food in Durham. The only place that has home made egg rolls, and if you want something they don't have, let them know and they'll make it.
The price is excellent compared to what you get at the other places.
You'll love it.

As always the food is very good. Customer service is good as well.
I would question those complaining as if this was a sit in restaurant. its take out only. I have been ordering mayflower since the early 70's and still consider it one of the best!

bad experiene

the sevice is a joke!I attempted numerous times to get attention from the waiters but to no avail:( i took my jacket and left!

i love this place have dined at others places and the mayfloer by far is the best that durham has to offer love the food love the people love it all will go again and again
