This restaurant appears to be closed now. Have driven by a couple of times recently, and no activity to speak of. And there appears to be a hand-written note on the door, but I haven't actually gone up to read it, as the rumours around town that it is closed seem to be true.

Extreme disappointment! The food was okay, but nothing out of the ordinary or enough to overshadow the downfalls! We were the only table, but nearly every table had dirty dishes on them! Service was slow and unprofessional to say the least! Would not recommend at all!

Hells Kitchen Orillia Episode!!! Our party of 9 arrived 10 minutes early for an 8 pm reservation on Saturday October 17. None of us had ever visited Maria's before but had seen the band 'The Sensations' play and wanted to see them again. The restaurant was filled to capacity and tables were crammed so tightly together staff could not move around them. Order for drinks and appetizers and main courses were taken promptly but was at least half an hour until our drinks appeared and was after 9 before any appetizers served. At 10.30 we were completely fed up with being ignored. Some tables that had arrived after us were finished their meals before we got our appetizers. One of our party tried in vain to find the server and then the manager and when he could not looked in the kitchen and found it empty. When finally tracked down, the manager instead of being appologetic was quite belligerent and felt that our wait time was not excessive as they were very busy. At this point we decided to just pay for our drinks and appetizers and leave. The only food I had the opportunity to try was a salad that tasted like the dressing had been on for a long time and their customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. Based on this none of us would ever return to Maria's again.
- Order: Caesar salad, Maria's salad, the rest never arrived!

every thing was cooked from fresh ingredients and you can tell. i hear the place uses new ideas in the special board and that's great for curious eaters like me and my husband. i would only change those awful chairs seeing as how larger set people may fine them a tad uncomfortable. other than that i will return because i am excited for fresh ingredients as much as fresh menu items. keep up the creativity

I certainly can commend these guys for Trying but the Menu has not changed in years, Although I understand the owners have or the Leasee of this facility. Although in the last couple of years they have tried to spruce it up with cosmetic changesetc... it really was better under the former owner Name Frankies. This really will be my last time their, unfortunately, but it is just being a little sub par for me and I am not really that fussy of a girl.. Some suggestions would be to liven up the place with better seating, be true to what you are have your menu stand out from the other Itallian / pasta places in town, basically all the same thing.

Really had the Worst experience of my life, we didnt have a reservation, but the food tasted like it came out of a frozen dinner pack ,lacked flavour and appeal, the useof some creativity in the Mneu is non existant and boring the chairs are uncomfortable, you felt no feeling of comfort in this resetaurant, oh but the server he was a blast very flame... boyant , however it did not make up for the rest of the evening,I was Embarresed I recommended this place.

just had a bad day I guess the service lacked luster and style loud atmosphere, open Kitchens are passay ok now but how about summer when the bugs come in the front door across from the kitchen. chairs uncomfortable they have been there since they first opens under the name Frankies, I used to go then it was better. Same type of food I actually think some of menu is still the same and that was ten or more years ago...Time to change Folks.... Sory but not a place I would return quickly back to on a visit.

I was taken there by a customer of mine to discuss business, how ever the server was a little intrusive in my view, the food was ok luke warm and portions not verry filling, especially for pasta cheap cheap... I would not go back their I am sure there are other places with more to offer in Orillia, The atmosphere was typical , Seats not very comfortable as I am a little larger than the avererage woman however, guess I wanted more for a lunch experience
- Order: pasta , ceasar, dessert
