Hills Maple Leaf Restaurant

I've been there for many breakfasts and it's definitely worth it. Hungry? Go to Hill's.
I did go there for lunch once and ordered a sandwich I didn't like, but it had to do with my tastes, not their quality.

If you are really hungry and like greasy breakfast foods then this is a good place to go in Orillia, although it can be really busy which can require a long wait. It is sort of like the dingy diners you see in movies/tv... far from nice decor, but that is part of its charm.

This place has been around forever, since 1926! Talk about overcoming chain restaurants,economy troubles you name it. Hills has a one of a kind breakfast with incredible smoked bacon. Yes it is a smaller restaurant and tends to be a bit over crowded but its busy for a reason, the food. If you want a cheap home cooked meal that does not disappoint go to Hills Maple Leaf Restaurant.

They need more room, it is such a busy place that you are almost sitting on each other, but the service was fast and friendly. I used to go here with my gradparents as a child and love the clubhouse.

Hill's Family owned Restaurant has the best home-cooked meals I have ever had! We have never gone away hungry. It's hard to find a restaurant where you can custom order; can substitute choices and have cooked any style. We have gone for breakfast (very busy time) and we have gone for dinner. Both times our meal was perfect. The hot sandwiches are to die for! Plenty of home cooked fries and loads of chicken or beef on bread and smothered with loads of their home-cooked gravy....mmmmmmmm. The staff are always very friendly and go out of the way to make sure everything is right. Can't wait to go back! I give it 2 thumbs up!

Breakfast....eggs and bacon/peameal....eggs over easy were perfect, service was friendly and prompt with the coffee refills. Place is a bit small but the typical diner atmosphere and the good cooking are worth it. Price is very reasonable.

we love hills for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Everything has a home-made feeling, and it allows us to enjoy our meal in the warming atmosphere. would like to add that THEY HAVE GOOD GRAVY!

Great food,fast! good quantity! kinda tight in there though! if it was more open and a little more room too move around it would be a ten!

The only thing missing for this place, is space. Be prepared to wait in a long line, especially for breakfast. Wake up call to the owners.... EXPAND!

My kids favourite!!! (I love it too!!!) The girls that work there are THE BEST, the food is fast and oh so filling.....and the price is right. I'm a MAJOR promoter of this restaurant!!!
