Mye Japanese Restaurant

Wife and I have been here a few times and always have a great experience.

Authentic feel right down to the decor.

My husband and I love Mye.
Sushi they have are always fresh and very consistent.
I am from Japan and my husband spend more than 5 years in Japan so we know good sushi. And I am telling you Mye's sushi's very good.
We feel lucky to have Mye so close to where we live.

When we want to eat something good we always settle on going to Mye.

Try their Unagi Nigiri. It's the best!
The way the grill the Unagi is just soooooo good.

The food is always fresh and delicious and very consistent.
Excellant sushi rolls, and main dishes as well, the plum wine has become a favorite of ours.

Had (once again) a marvellous experience at this lovely restaurant. It's quaint, unassuming yet elegant and cosy. The food is wonderful, well presented and the service is polite, quiet and attentive.
It's a great place for that special day - an anniversary, birthday, family reunion or any time at all.
I will definitely visit again!

I quite enjoyed my experience at this restuarant. It has a warm and inviting atmoshpere, with a wall covered in various Japanese cups. The food was very tasty. Not the largest of portions, but good value for a higher-class restaurant. The only thing I might comment on is the service by the older staff of the restuarant. They do not greet you and are very stark when they talk to you. However, the younger waiters and waitresses are great. I would definately go back if I were in the mood for sushi in the downtown area.

My husband, son and I went under the reccommendation of close friends who are regulars at Mye - they said it was the best Japanese restaurant they'd ever been to. We couldn't agree more!

Stopped in without a reservation. No wait, but I would recommend making one next time.

I have been living in Japan on and off for the last two years. Soon I will leave these shores and move back to Canada. More specifically; Oakville, Ontario. I can't wait to get back home:). Anyway, living in Japan has provided me with the opportunity to eat grade A first class sushi. OK...I am a sushi lover, especially sashimi. The sushi here in Japan is wonderful, but I have to admit the best place for sushi, on this planet, is at Mye Restaurant. I have told this to a few of my Japanese friends, in Nagoya, and they scoffed at the idea that sushi could be better outside of Japan. Well, these taste buds think differently than the Japanese.

The Japanese restaurant outside of Japan that has the best sushi is at Mye Restaurant.They have a great menu with a variety of different Japanese dishes, including sushi, sashimi, tempura, sukiyaki and so on. I go there for the sashimi dinner. It is a little expensive, at $28.75, but well worth the price.

Good food, prompt service. Not as good as many Japanese restaurants I have eaten at, however.

I brought two clients to this restaurant, and was very disappointed. When the bill for 3 people tops $200 (with no alcohol) at a sushi place, I expect much more than what I got. Food was nothing special, service was pretty poor, with lots of reminders needed and several order errors. Again, for this price, I expect a lot more. With lots of alternatives I wouldn't go back.
