Love the patio in summer evening. Good food. Would love to see a wine list change more often, but overall, a nice evening at this great little place.

My favorite restaurant in Oakville. Went there for a business dinner a few weeks ago and my meal was fantastic. I was also eyeing everyone else's meal but since I had just met them had to refrain from taking bites off their plate. It looked and smelled fabulous. I wrote a very positive review a few months ago as well but strangely it has disappeared!

I have been here a few times for dinner and have been delivered excellent food each time. Service is sometimes lacking (number of staff is small), but I go for the food not for the service. The atmosphere is quite, dimmed, quite romantic. Would recommend it for special occasions (anniversary, birthdays, etc.).

Was really hoping for better food. The ambiance was ok but the service was atrocious. When we ordered a bottle of wine it was poured into my glass which had another type of wine in it. Dissapointed by the experience.

Abdrew, the owner is great. The wine list is fantastic. We have never had a bad meal. We are regulars here. If you want a great place in Oakville this is it !

I forget the exact date we came in, but it was in September or October of 2006 on a Saturday. The owner's wife should remember me, because I left a message on the restaurant's voicemail asking for a reservation, she called me back and said she was full, but then later called me and said there was a cancellation and she could squeeze me in at 6. I took it.
Some of my guests were late and the owner's wife freaked out. She came to me and said she had a reservation for the table at 8 and we had to order. When I told her that I wasn't given a time limit at the table she snapped back "My husband and I own this restaurant, it's a small business and we have to do the best we can to survive." I was shocked and felt like consoling her. I shouldn't be made to feel that way as a customer. I told her we would order quickly. Then my final 2 guests arrived and I immediately told them to pick out their food quickly. They did and then the owner's wife was nowhere to be found. It took her another 15 minutes to get to our table and take our order. I had to re-tell the story to all of my guests. A night that was supposed to be fun and relaxing turned out to be stressful. When the owner's wife finally got to our table she was abrupt and visibly annoyed at us. I didn't understand why. I suspected she couldn't take pressure.
We ended up leaving the restaurant at 8:30 (we were scared to order dessert, but we ultimately did) and guess what. No reservation showed up for 8:00. In fact, there were several tables empty when we left at 8:30.
No apology from the owner's wife. Although the food was good, I would never go back because of her.

The food is good, but not great. The simpler dishes such as Spag with green beans and chicken is quite good and the pizza is good ... best gourmet style in Oakville (not that there's a lot of competition in Oakville for pizza!). Have been consistently disappointed by anything else foodwise. Service is generally good (except for the owner's wife, whom becomes visibly perturbed when pizza is ordered?!).
