I recently read about Panino Cappuccino in the Toronto Sun. There was an article talking about this "hidden gem". I would have never expected such a cute Italian restaurant to have been in the small Weston rd. plaza I pass by every day. Well kudos to the author because they were totally right! I decided to give it a try! I took my girlfirend one Friday night & the place was packed! We were however greeted right away and scored a corner booth! We shared the Italian Springs Rolls (UNREAL!) to start. I had the penne alla vodka and my friend had the seabass which was the special for the night. The food was exceptionally good and definately impressed my friend and I. The servers were also great & the atmosphere was very cozy. On our way out we even had the opportunity to meet one of the brothers/owners 'Fabio' who was also very nice. Can't wait to go back for more yummy spring rolls!

Worst, most disgusting restaurant I have ever seen. Food is little more than gruel. Burger King is better. Ownership has no clue how to treat people. Don't go here, you don't deserve it and neither do they.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. There is so much that I could say about the wonderful atmosphere, excellent food and caring staff. I have been going there for years, and have had many family functions at Panino Cappuccino. They have always gone above and beyond to satisfy. My absolute favorite place to eat, drink and socialize with friends and family. I make sure that I reccomend them to everyone I know!

My family, friends and I frequent this resturant alot. It is a great place to have a well prepared meal at a great price. The atmosphere is cozy with a touch of romance. Service is IMPECABLE. The food is AMAZING. I've never really had a bad experience. Two thumbs up to all the staff at Panino. All must try the Italian Spring Rolls if you go.

We were reviewing the restaurant for a huge Family party. To my disappointment, we had waited for over an hour for our food to arrive, furthermore, when we had complained - the waitress was very defensive. Once the food had arrived, one member of our party was not impressed by her meal due to the fact that the tips of her Steack Spinado was severly burnt. She had sent it back without wanting anything else, we had asked the waitress not to bill us for the Steak Spinado. She had then sent the cook / owner "Tony" to our table. He had preceded to inform us in a self righteouse attitude that this is how it is made, failing to see that another person at our table had ordered the Chicken Spinado which was not burnt. He then said that the tips had touched the top of the oven. He then said that he would not charge us for the Steak Spinado this time, as if he was doing us a favour not charging us for an item that was not for human consumption. Needless to say - I will not be returning and furthermore, I will be informing every person I know about this experience. I have been in the food service industry my whole life and I have never ever experienced anyone or anything like this. I was shocked and appaulled. I have dined in numerouse restaurants in my years - if there was ever a complaint or anything ever wrong, things would be taken care of in a professional manner. I do not believe that "Tony" does not know the meaning of "Customer Service" and he should not be the cook or in the Food Service Industry.

Very unique setting, looks like a bar from outside, but with the casual romantic Italian decoration at a not-so nice area of town.
But very friendly waitress, who gave us two "friend wontons" (some called it Spring Rolls, egg rolls in other postings) to try, just because we were asking what their signature dish was. Calamari was made fresh. I thought the pizza was so-so, despite other positive comments here. But gotta put 2 thumbs up for 'Pasta' Alle Vodka!!

When I visited Panino Cappucino, a very special moment occured to me, reminded me of my family getting together like when I was a young boy in Italy; where an extra place will always be set for the unexpected visitor, and the food just like mamma made. This is not food for ‘making an impression’ – it is everyday real food, which can be afforded by almost anybody. A awesome and delightful experience. Buon Appetito.

It's like I was a kid again, going down to College street, on a Sunday afternoon to my Uncle Tony's house for lunch. The whole crew, the chef's, the waiters, and dont forget the waitresses :) are all too awesome. They make you feel just like family, never a bad day. This menu is so easy to work with, as are the staff, just tell them what you feel like and watch what happens. Let them navigate Chef specials of the day and a twist to any menu item, sit back and watch what happens. Bravo!! I have been for lunch, diner, and even take out for my kids birthday....a taste that never bores you, even the neighbours are calling for catering now....I love it. Ciao
- Order: Tre Frattelli Pizza....dont even try to find this pizza at any other spot....it's not gonna happen!!!! This pizza is my all time fave, it has a combined taste that is so original it's almost a name brand...soon. Next item that rules....ask the chef to make you the italian style egg rolls. These are wild and unexpected. Prosciutto, cheese, etc inside, not the usual sprouts from china....this is true old school done new....hahaaa. OHHH....dont forget to dip them in the vinaigrette reduction....too cool.
